I'm a Cruz fan and don't see how Trump kicking the crap out of our common foe does us any harm. Let him have at it.

If he destroys the GOP-e GREAT!!

We have one chance to really make a strong statement against the GOPe and their Democratic Party and lobbyist allies. Failure should not be considered an option. While Trump is certainly not my ideal candidate he fights and can say much of what we believe. They have not been able to destroy him yet.

We cannot let them create doubt amonst us and help bring him down. We may never get a chance to have someone like him to carry the fight that cannot be bought. Remember we had a strong tea party movement in 2010 and the GOPe, the media, the Democrats and Obama with his IRS almost destroyed the movement.

It’s not bashing to point out Trump’s inconsistencies and flip flopping on issues critical to conservatives. He’s got two things right and that’s the illegal part of immigration and the war against the liberal religion of PC. For that he deserves a medal. That said, he’s not the best POTUS candidate available this cycle.

Trump reminds me of John Doggett who confronted Howard Metzenbaum during the Thomas-Hill hearings. And that's just what we need now, especially with the prospect of a continued and larger Camp of the Saints style invasion.

The fact is, MANY Trump bashers DO support Jebuardo, as do the GOPe-RINO-Axis. Let us presume hypothetically that we were in the middle of World War II and you happened to become aware of General George Patton's liberal political leanings [he had none, this is for illustration purposes], would you be so eager to slash him and trash him by "posting his liberal record", regardless of his taking the fight to the enemy?

We're in a war pal, worry less about someone's posting history and get focused on the real enemy, which is the RNC and their rigged game that is NOT going to allow them to shove their pre-selected RINO candidate down our throats again.

The Trump campaign is an asset to the conservative cause. Trump says all the things the other candidates are afraid to say.

Trump has also identified the KEY issue of 2016 for conservatives, the issue which MUST be addressed before demographics makes the US permanently and irrevocably Socialist: IMMIGRATION.

If we don't halt the immigration of the world's underclass to the US, then we lose. We lose on everything. We lose on abortion, gay marriage, 2nd Amendment, everything. The demographics will keep the Dems in power until the whole US goes down like Venezuela is going.

Trump’s numbers come largely from non-voters or registered voters. It’s name recognition that is driving this wave. I am grateful that he’s put PC and illegal immigration on the front burner, they’re both big issues for conservatives.

That said, he’s not a conservative by any stretch of the imagination. Those who are supporting him seem to be doing so for two reasons:

1. His attacks - GOPe (although he’s gone after other candidates who are conservative), the press, PC, illegal immigration.

and/or

2. Projection - they see in Trump a media star hero that they then presume agrees with them on basic policy.

Trump’s policy positions on guns, SSM, welfare reform, taxes and trade are all liberal. He’s even flip flopped on immigration.

If you recall Perot’s run, he too gave hints that he wasn’t all there and would flip flop in the general. He did and we got a Clinton. Learn from history.
