Trump insults Fiorina in Rolling Stone: 'Look at that face!'
CNN Money ^ | 9/9/2015

Donald Trump latest's close-up is coming from the unlikeliest of magazines: Rolling Stone.

The magazine, well known for its progressive bent, interviewed and photographed Trump for its September 24 cover.

The article's most-talked-about passage on Wednesday was a Trump comment about rival Republican 2016 candidate Carly Fiorina.

Writer Paul Solotaroff was sitting with Trump watching a newscast when a video clip zoomed in on Fiorina.

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?" Trump said to Solotaroff. "Can you imagine that, the face of our next president.

Trump added, "I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

Yep, he did say that.

All we know at this point is that a RS reporter says he said it.

In the same paragraph of the RS article, the writer alleges that just before the Fiorina comment, he called Scott Walker "slow".

Need more popcorn!

(if true) no other Trump comment would result in 200+ posts in an hour. Trump sure knows how to generate ratings.

Rolling Stone has no credibility. I agree that if he did say, it was the wrong thing to say.

If something like that was said about a male candidate, it wouldn't even be newsworthy.

If women are ever going to be treated equal as men, they need to lose the "damsel in distress" routine.

If Carly can’t take the heat, she shouldn’t run for President. She deserves no special treatment.

This accusation came from Rolling Stone, which is an untrustworthy source. They’ve fabricated stories before, who’s to say they’re not lying about this? If he did say it, yes, he was wrong. But, we don’t know. You hate Trump so you’ll believe anyone who speaks against him.

You have a nice evening too.

It's really depressing to see Trump's boorish behavior get such fawning support here.

Wouldn't blow my mind at all if he won the nomination and immediately endorsed the dem while laughing at how easy it was to bring conservatives down into the same gutter where many liberals live.

When women decide to play in the same arena they get to be treated equal. Shame on double standards and on the bigotry of thinking she can’t handle personal comments. If she can’t she should get back to the sewing circle. After all she knows what she looks like. Its not looks that are her real problem anyway..

If a women is supposed to protect and defend our country it better not affect her is someone says she has a fat a** or is ugly. She better be able to blow that off and think about the important things. If Fiorina’s face is any guide she is tough enough to do that.

It really upsets me that on Free Republic we have a whole bunch of people saying that can’t be true and he should apologize. Get over the nicey nicey mindset, its what has allowed the Democrates to destroy our country. No one will call them out, to busy being polite and politically correct. Trump has a lot of compassion and kindness tough when he needs to be too and he’s honest, but nice is not one of his strong points ...thanks to God.

Cruz is Polite, Professional, effective and the GOPe think he is an arsehole.

Cruz is also presidential, he doesn't speak like a highschooler and he doesn't attack women on their looks.

I have read the entire Rolling Stone article on Donald Trump!!! It is the typical “hate piece” put forward by the Rollimg Stone low life Obamabot adorees. Pay it no heed!!! Actually Rolling Stone should get on their knees and bow down to “The Donald”!!! Trump will give the gutter magazine the best circulation they have had, all year!!!

Thanks for reading it.

Even if Trump doesn't like her looks, it's no big whoop-dee-doo. ICarly going to lose sleep over it? Yawwwn....

It does give the haters something to whine about.

The difference between Trump and the other politicians is that Trump says up front, what the others all say behind closed doors.

And that's among the reasons why I've been moving closer over the past few weeks to being onboard with Donald Trump. The old ways of being "statesmanlike" no longer work given the crisis the Republic faces. This is all out war and Trump is showing that he can be like General Sherman when a slash and burn strategy is necessary and effective. I can easily see him fearlessly facing down our enemies whether they be from Mexico or mooselimb lands.

Dont see the benefit.

And we can MAKE BELIEVE that none of the women voters will care about this, but then we are being WAY PAST naive.

Why lose ANY votes for No reason?

Double standard, etc. Their vote will count as much as yours.
