Clinton calls for US to accept 65,000 Syrian refugees

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton says the U.S. should accept more refugees fleeing war-torn Syria.

“We’re facing the worst refugee crisis since the end of World War II, and I think the United States has to do more,” the former secretary of State said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “I would like to see us move from what is a good start with 10,000 to 65,000 and begin immediately to put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in.” President Obama said his administration will let in at least 10,000 refugees.

Former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley, who is also seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, has also called for the U.S. to let in 65,000 refugees.

Hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants have attempted to enter Europe, where some countries have begun to tighten their border security to halt the flow of people.

Mark Arabo, a San Diego businessman, has gone largely ignored by the whitehut.

He wants to help CHRISTIAN refugees, and has immigration sponsors for them in Cali area.

All the stops are being pulled folks. It’s scorched earth time. Hillary, bammy, Skerry, and the left will not rest until the US looks like civil war ravaged Syria. They are deliberately importing terrorism. Their ‘great vision’ for us is burning cars, screaming, looting, gunfire, and murder squads roaming the streets... coast to coast. And all to distract from their monstrous criminality.

It’s not a winning position among those blessed with a brain. But it *could* be a winning position for those who clamor for big government and the care and various blessings of all kinds they believe it can bestow on those less fortunate.

I think there is some aspect of society that wishes for a great big, munificent and all-encompassing government. I really do. And I urge you to try to think along those lines just as a thought experiment, what we (you and I) would perceive as a horrible thing, but just to try to get inside the heads of those who wish for it. This is not deep thinking, it is “somebody help me”.

For example, if you are a medium grade kid getting out of college with a load of debt and unable to buy a house and not finding any meaningful work....these kids want the government to step in. They haven’t worked, so they haven’t experienced that magical moment when one sees how much in taxes the government takes out. So the money for all these things just magically appears.

There is a part of society that accepts the huge influx of illegals and does not connect this giant influx as something that might threaten their livelihoods. In effect, the same type of envy that makes them hate industry and achievement makes them want to pity those less fortunate.

I’m obviously not telling you or anyone else to change their thinking if you happen to be conservatively oriented and by reading this forum, one imagines this is the case. But there are lots of people who believe the meme about the US being an evil country and capitalism being a rotten system and we need to spread around the stuff we must have stolen from those less fortunate. It’s white guilt on steroids.

A few thousand should be settled in Chappaqua.
Yep, let the gov't use eminent domain to take over the country clubs (that used to, and probably still finds ways to forbid membership to "Coloreds, Jews and other undesirables" as they called them in the not always good old days) that surrounds her mansion. Then build some Section 8 housing in the Hamptons, on Mahtha's Vineyahd, to accommodate the rest of them. And while we're at it an executive order requiring the Kennedys to invite them to their clambakes.

They can’t find better ways to spend our money/resources? Guess I was wrong thinking we’re in debt, with wage stagnation. Guess we have no homeless on our own streets to feed and clothe. Oh but that’s up to charities to handle right Hill and Bill? WELL, if that’s true let the charities take care of them as well. On their own soil. Our government is not supposed to be the world’s hand-out depot. Or is it?

They can go to her place. In chappaqua. They won’t get any food. She strikes me as one if those women that don’t have food for visitors or people she’s supposed to take care of. I’ll bet she hasn’t cooked a meal for that no good husband of hers ever in their miserable marriage

They can all go there. But they’d better bring their own sandwiches and maybe something for breakfast. And coffe. She won’t make coffe for them

And they're probably from Benghazi. But what difference does it make to Hillary?

Not totally true.
Canada’s opposition to Harper are calling to reduce the red tape to get as many muslims into Canada as soon as possible!
Harper is has the presence of mind that there could be terrorists amongst them... perhaps he recognizes they are muslims...
