Are motor vehicle related taxes required to be dedicated to road maintenance (for motor vehicles)?

Bike lanes should be toll roads.

Two problems with a bike friendly Colorado. 1 Mountains, 2 that little issue with the 25 feet of snow.

Roadies need licensing just like motorists...many clearly think the rules of the road don’t apply to them, but the laws of physics certainly do.

Keep on running those STOP signs clowns...

A special “fee” or tax on road bikes should be implemented as well in order to get them to pay for this instead of heaping it all on the motorists.

Chickenpooper is doing all he can to break the Tax Payers Bill Of Rights. Colorado is doing fair in spite of Obama which must frustrate Chickenpooper no end as he wants to destroy Colorado.

Of the total $100 million, about 70 percent will come from CDOT ...

Let me guess ... of the $100 million, 70% will be spent in Denver and Boulder.

Is he going to bulldoze all the mountains?
‘Cause the only parts that are worth seeing are too steep for any but the most dedicated bicyclists.

I saw some yahoo on a bike in the middle of the right lane today on a 2 lane road frontage road. There was a BIKE lane to his right but noooo he has to show he can back up traffic. I went around him and I saw him go to the bike lane when a SUV was getting a bit too close to him.

Don't let 'em do it till they charge a prohibitive highway interference tax on those narrow, self-centered prigs peddling their a$$e$ all over your stoned state!

(this reply dedicated to all those red-state FReepers who constantly take cheap shots at us CA FReepers as if we were all liberals like all those liberal metro-sexuals in our over-populate blue zones)

The issue is bicycling, not biking.

Isn't it already the #1 state for biking?

Boulder is already psychotic about it, and every other town I've ever visited had more cyclists than anywhere else that I have been.
