I believe he already kind of mentioned that.

we don’t need to build a wall. We don’t need to deport every person that’s in this country, that would cost hundreds of billions of dollars,” Bush said to applause at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce convention in Houston.

All hat.
No cattle.

The guy just has no idea how stupid he sounds, nor how much damage he's doing to his own candidacy. His tin ear is destroying him. A tire fire of huge proportion. It's a wonder to behold.

Wrong time, wrong place.

Trump really needs to come up with a cost comparison. Dollars spent on welfare for illegals vs the wall.

FAIR already has: $113 billion PER YEAR. And that does NOT include Federal welfare and Medicaid transfer payments. Even if Jeb is right that Trump's plan costs "hundreds of billions", it is a bargain, as illegals cost the U.S. -- at MINIMUM -- $1.13 TRILLION over 10 years.

That's a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of NOT deporting them. When you're finished slobbering over all these illegals, suck on that, Jeb.

Bush is the “no can do” candidate of 2016.

The original idea of this campaign to elect Bush was to divide the conservative vote in the early proportional states and have those establishment dividers give their delegates to Bush later in the race when the winner-take-all, plurality wins states hit after March 15.

I can see that strategy is in jeopardy now.

I expect all of the dividers to exit to see if they can narrow it down to one establishment candidate and two conservatives splitting their votes. So many states after Mar 15 permit cross-over or modified crossover voting (independents) that the belief is that Trump’s 30% has to be confronted head-on with an anti-Trump, all out war in media and in the trenches.

The only question in my mind is if the establishment candidate will be Bush or Fiorina. They are the only viable alternatives.

When NBC pushes CNN’s poll because it looks better for Fiorina than their own, then you know something’s afoot.

One could say that Bush is taking himself out with this border nonsense of his, because he has to know that even independents don’t buy open borders. He’s counting on huge numbers of democrat crossovers, he’s paving the way for someone else, or he’s in never-never-land.

“We don’t need to deport every person that’s in this country, that would cost hundreds of billions of dollars,””

He can’t even get his MAIN TALKING POINT right. He really needs some uppers.

So, Mr. Bush, just for future reference:

No one wants to deport EVERY PERSON that is in this country, we want to deport every person that is in this country ILLEGALLY.

Deporting every person that is in this country, by the way, would be quite difficult, as the last person here would have to deport himself.

As many FReepers have pointed out, you don’t have to physically deport these people. Just end the welfare-healthcare gravy train for illegals and get tough on the employers who hire them. If you simply take away all the goodies, they have no incentive to stay here.

Bush is not likely to crack 5%. I'm serious, the guy is NOT a good candidate, not in the slightest. Never have so many (in the GOPe), been fooled by so little.....apologies to Sir Winston....

I think the elites are going to switch to Rubio, not Carly. She's the attack poodle, good for a veep slot (a pretty effective one at that).

I think Mark Levin did the numbers a few weeks ago based on how much Israel’s wall cost. And it was in the billions but not hundreds of billions!

I don’t think Rubio is a reliable establishment moderate, while I think Fiorina will walk lockstep with them. That said, Rubio brings Florida with him, and there’s no way that Fiorina will bring California with her. In the risk/reward analysis, you’re probably right that they’d rather risk Rubio.

However, if Hillary hangs in there, I’m sure they’re thinking Fiorina would counter the female factor. On the other hand, Boxer cleaned her clock...but that was California.

For me, and this is an honest assessment, even though Fiorina has certainly been successful, I think her record isn’t stellar, and it’s easily attacked. Casting all that aside once more, I think the GOP-E would love to have the first female president. That emotionalism could override logic.

Jeb has made his position perfectly clear. He has sided with the immigrants & against US citizens, who will be forced to pay the heavy price of illegal immigrant welfare & crime.

Shouldn’t Jeb be running for the presidency of Mexico?

I will never vote for Jeb Bush. Ever.
