This is the one I'm currently watching....
You Who Came From the Stars......Probably the best-made KDrama I've ever seen.
I’d liked to have seen them come back periodically. Each of them functioning and adapting to 24th century life.
I think one showed up in a book.
Most TNG episodes looking back were mediocre at best. There were a handful of good ones. DS9 was better.
I’m looking at a 4K 40 inch computer monitor instead of running two monitors. Then again I may drop the idea.
I like the history and backstories that the TCM spots offer up. The hosts I can take or leave.
I send content to stock galleries but have yet to a 4K format sell. Supposedly I am an early adopter.
A thousand channels and nothing’s on!
dear buck,
Bush may have had the key in the ignition on this one, but, it was near mid summer 2009, in my area, that the morning turned on and had no recepttion. That puts it in the lap of that queer-in-charge.
Tried to watch the first episode of new show Blindspot. Trailers showed it appeared interesting. Stopped watching at approximately half way through the episode; only show I’ve ever seen that Jumped the Shark on its premier episode.
IMHO, you can’t judge a series by its pilot episode. The pilot episodes are usually hyper-active, with cartoonish characters, way too-loud “background” music, etc. It’s all meant to hook you, of course — but, with me, it has the opposite effect. I usually (not always) give a series till episode two, before deep-sixing it (and I only tune in to ones that I think are particularly promising).
BTW, in my household the jury’s still out on “Blindspot”. The pilot had all the over-the-top faults mentioned above (and more)— but, it could be a good series (if the writers and directors take some Ritalin, and calm things down a bit).
Maybe if they didn’t feel the need to propagandize to us on every show...things would be different.

“Brian Williams is covering the Pope on PSMNBC...LOL.”
Who the hell isn’t covering pope?
Before Eisner, Disney was in financial trouble and narrowly avoided several hostile takeover attempts. Now it's by far the most profitable studio in town. Say what you want about their choice, but its hard to argue with their success.
