You keep saying you “feel” things are done to you. That says that you might have gotten belligerent because you felt put out. When feelings control actions bad things can happen. Try thinking instead.

Yeah, I have a very thick skin and become impervious to perceived slights when the petty bureaucrat tyrants have the power to make my life miserable.
Somehow, writing a sternly-worded complaint letter doesn't seem like "payback."
