The Saudis have spent tens of billions of dollars increasing capacity and trying to improve crowd control at the various Hajj sites. That stoning area saw stampede deaths almost every year until the Saudis improved the area. From what I understand many pilgrims think you need to do the stoning at at a certain time so they all rush to get there.

The stoning area? LOLZLOLZLOLZ - Is that like Frontierland or Tomorrowland at Disney? How awesome. Such a tolerant and peaceful gutter "religious" philosophy - straight outta the 11th Century! I love it!!

It is worse than Disneyland in the sense that you have over a million people trying to do the same rituals at the same time. Imagine that you do to Disneyland and there is a specific sequence of how you go from one area to the other.

Build an temporary tent city in the middle of the desert just after the hottest month of the year in the driest region of the desert ... Then install tens of thousands of air conditioners running their cooled air into uninsulated cloth tents .. every one of which has no sealed doors, no weatherstripping and an open roof vents.
