A California teenager is being hailed a hero after he rushed to the defense of a blind classmate and knocked a purported school bully to the ground.
Shocking video of the fight, recorded by a bystander, shows the teen tormenter repeatedly beating his blind peer on the head.
Another student quickly leaps in, stopping the pounding with a single punch.

The hit leaves the bully bleeding on the ground.
"You trying to jump a f------ blind kid, bro?" the teen says, hovering over him. "What the f--- is your problem?"
Footage of the fight surfaced Wednesday and took place at Huntington Beach High School in Southern California during lunch, district officials told the Daily News.
Friends of the bully pick him up from the floor as a crowd of youngsters gather around the trio.
The 30-second video has been viewed nearly 480,000 times on YouTube, where commenters cheered the rescuer and bashed the bully.
"This hero is what I imagine Captain America was like in high school!" one person wrote.
The clip ends with a warning from the blind student's savior.
"I swear to God, if you f--- with this kid again, I will f--- you up," he says.
The Huntington Beach Union High School District said officials are investigating and have begun interviewing students and witnesses.
“Huntington Beach High School firmly believes that all students are afforded an opportunity to learn in a safe and secure environment. Because of this, safety is the highest priority,” it said in a statement to the News. “Huntington Beach High School has a very strong anti-bullying code of conduct and will not condone this type of behavior from any student.”
He got suspended. Not the bully.

He should have claimed he was trying to fist the bully and missed. Then he would be a hero to the school administration!
Zero tollerance strikes again. He is believed to have been kicked the have-a-go-hero off the football team after he breached their ‘zero-tolerance’ policy on violence.
I haven’t been able to find any report that indicates the defender got suspended. Can you cite a source?

His problem is the fact that he didn’t begin an anti-bullying club at school.
The cameraman needs a steadier hand.

It was later found out that the blind kid and the bully were gay lovers and the other kid was charged with a homophobic hate crime for asserting CIS male hetero privilege.
Note how the bully cowers after he is hit. He is almost fetal position.
I heard the bully has since been arrested

As much as I am glad there is video, I wonder if the guy recording it was part of it? or why no one stopped the bully instead of whipping out their phones
