On September 24 Daily Mail editor Piers Morgan claimed that Pope Francis used his speech to the U.S. Congress to eviscerate “gun-toting, blood-thirsty…bigots” vying for conservative leadership and suggested the Pope’s approach shows Democrats the way to defeat Republicans in coming elections.

As for the gun thing, I read that story, and the Pope was criticizing the export of arms...not our gun culture (although I’m sure that the Argentinian Commie probably doesn’t like that either) - so Piers apparently can’t read too well.
As for giving up my guns: as a Jew, as an American and as a human being, I simply will not EVER do so - you will have to literally pry them from my rapidly cooling hands...and be careful not to slip on all of the empty brass surrounding my body.
