"Russian Air Strikes Unleash Never Seen Before Mass Devastation in Syrian"

Syrians living in rebel-held areas of Homs province have seen a lot of destruction in four years of war, but say the Russian air force unleashed a whole new level of devastation in air strikes on their towns on Wednesday.

Jets flying at higher altitudes than the Syrian air force emitted no noise to alert the people below to raids reported to have killed at least 33 civilians, including children.

"We have been exposed to a wide range of weapons over the last five years, but what happened today was absolutely the most violent and ferocious, and the most comprehensive in the northern Homs countryside," said a doctor in the town of Rastan, speaking from one of the areas targeted by the jets.

"As I speak to you now the mosque minarets are warning of planes in the sky and warning that gatherings of people should disperse," he told Reuters, declining to be named out of fear for his safety.

He said the 11 people killed in the town, some 12 miles north of the city of Homs, included three children and their father who died along with two visitors when their home was hit. "It was as if the house never was," said the doctor, who helped treat casualties from the attack.

He and others on the ground had no way of knowing for sure the jets were Russian when they struck in the morning. But their altitude, the way they manoeuvred, and later reports that Russia had started air strikes, with Rastan among the targets, left them in little doubt.

From the perspective of Assad and Russia, they have to consolidate power in Syria first, then they can attack ISIS.

From the video released by the Russians this was relatively high altitude, area bombing, with the precision of a World War II B-17.

33 deaths is hardly ‘mass devastation’.

I think the Germans did better at Guernica…..between 170 and 300 people were killed in the bombing…..26 April 1937.

I’m afraid they might have.

But in a different way...

I wondered about that after reading about all this for a while.

Kind of a Hegelian maneuver.

One part of me wants to cheer them on because it finally looks like something is being done.

But then I remember that they utilize muslim miscreants at times.

The whole deal over there is so confusing I can’t string it together.

I hate not knowing what to believe.

“We have been exposed to a wide range of weapons over the last five years, but what happened today was absolutely the most violent and ferocious, and the most comprehensive in the northern Homs countryside,”

This is how the CCCP fights, no holding back for any reasons whatsoever. Go in, do the job, clean up the terrorists and do it all over again. Scorched Earth policy works.

Ovomit’s plans are all wrapped up in red tape, I mean red lines...

That’s it. I can say without a shadow of doubt that God has given us over to a reprobate mind (state).

What do you think will be the hook in their jaw? Right now it appears they are getting along with Israel.

The Rus don’t like to mess around once they really get mad.

Please note, they didn’t do this in the Ukraine.

The only question is how far north and east they intend to go.

The US has really screwed up. Obama handed the Middle East to Russia on a silver platter. Expect Oil to go up soon.

Correct.

I have said this before, and will say it again. Someone in the US State Department needs to go dig up James H. Billington. Russia is behaving as Russia again, and NATO is playing along like they are following a script.

We are at least ten years behind catching them up, and will probably have the Middle East fall to the Russian orbit. Something the British and American policy makers have been working to stop since at least the mid 1800’s.

But our current State department and military is much more concerned with promoting gay marriage than defending the interests of the West.

Israel’s oil and gas fields off their coast that have been discovered in the past couple of years. They say there is enough gas out there to power Europe for 200 years or something like that. Huge natural gas finds.
