Hassan Haj Ali, head of the Liwa Suqour al-Jabal rebel group (trained by the US and Saudi Arabia), said the camp in Idlib province was struck by around 20 missiles in two separate sorties. - AP

There is nothing that can be done until we have Obama out of office. I use news for entertainment only, or turn it off.

Obama is untouchable 400 days plus left.

Let Russia do some bombing.

You are right. However, kicking Obama’s teeth in is not Putin’s job, it’s ours. By kicking Obama’s teeth in, foreign countries kick in mine too, by association. And yours as well, by the way.

Both Russia and Iran are economic basket cases.

Not sure that is true, especially in light of the end of economic sanctions on Iran and the unfreezing of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Likewise Russia has a more self sufficent and diversified economy that its given credit for, and Western economic sanctions have only forced them to redouble those efforts.

That’s an “association” I no longer feel. When this country started persecuting Christian bakers and photographers, and became so degenerate as to legally equate two homo perverts as the same as a husband-and-wife, it became a different nation to me.

“Likewise Russia has a more self sufficent and diversified economy...”

Russia’s economy is heavily dependent on the exports of raw materials and thus oil and gas prices. Putin has not diversified Russia’s economy during his 15 year rule. Any attempts at diversifying the economy, making it less dependent with the current level of corruption, absence of real market economy and subservient legal system seem doomed to failure.

Indeed. Momentum of large bodies is incredibly difficult to stop.

Russia under Putin is ascendant - the USA under Obama and the GOPe is descendent. It will be 50 years before equilibrium is restored and there may be great losses in our future.

Everything you are saying is true. But you sound so weary. I am sorry you feel that way. I have worked too hard towards my American citizenship and not ready to quit. There is nowhere else to go. We should make the last stand here or go down with the country. We still have God on our side.

Russia under Putin is ascendant

What makes you say so? Do you know the state the Russian economy is in and the way it’s trending?

Probably right to some degree——Obama is out to destroy our country any way he and his handlers can, so, he does anything or everything possible to reach that goal-—this is the latest mess we are in because Obama is getting close to the end of his term as president and must allow a ramp up of acts against the USA——worse is yet to come —hope the garbage who elected him 2x is happy-

I doubt God is on our side-—we threw Him out of our schools , off some of our monuments, passed laws against his Scriptural admonitions, you name it-—whose side would you be on if you were so treated?

This all kind of reminds me of the Iraqi public relations officer who was saying US troops were bogged down in southern Iraq as you heard the sound of tanks in the background - you can only hide your head in the sand for so long!

You know, the worst part of all of this is that upwards of 47% of Americans (the same 47% that Romney was criticized for calling out) still support this administration and will vote for another liberal, no matter what.

I'm truly embarrassed!!!

The fact alone that Russian planes are bombing targets in Syria with impunity is one reason. Putin and Netanyu meeting to discuss strategery? Unprecedented. Putin's seizure of Crimea and his hostile takeover attempt of independent Ukraine? What is USA diplomatic response to all this?

Not us. God is on OUR side. And HE does not like to be messed with.

OK, Obama is a weakling, if not worse. Difference is, Putin is not replaceable, we, on the other side, can and will replace Obama.

Whatever - I addressed your question - satisfactorily, I presume

a nation in debt to the tune of 22 trillion dollars is likely descendent for quite a while, meanwhile Putin rounds up all the oil in the middle east and sells it to us at 700.00USD by the barrel - which we pay of course because this nation is too stupid and afraid of the green lobby to say GFY and become energy independent.

I beg to differ. If the nation faces such a situation, it will smarten up overnight. We have more resources than OPEC nations combined to sustain ourselves. The national debt is an outrage, so let us elect a responsible president who will solve the problem.
