Donald Trump's number one qualification is that he is not a politician. He reminds us everyday and it's true. People may not like what he has to say or how he says it, but America needs Donald Trump. He and Ted Cruz have a similar plan to simplify the tax code, secure the border and make America an economic engine of the world. The two can unite the Tea Party movement and Trump alone can appeal to Democrat voters to beat Hillary Clinton. Recent polls have shown Trump appealing to voters of all stripes. Trump also has a tough foreign policy that establishment Republicans could learn to appreciate.

I could live with that. I’m ashamed to admit that I was actually excited when Romney picked the boy wonder from Wisconsin, who proceeded to lose a debate to Joe Biden. Then he got snookered into a lopsided deal by the dumbest member of the U.S. Senate. Cruz won’t turn out to be that kind of disappointment.

President Cruz will pick a solid conservative as his VP. Trump will pick whomever Trump wants and nobody will be able to do a thing about it because it will be too late by then.

Yeah, that was a big letdown for me too. Ryan was too much the gentleman - which you cannot do when you are up against both your opponent and his ally, the moderator.
Trump would never pick Cruz as his #2. If he did he would be really stupid. Cruz would never be able to get Trump to be #2 even though it would be a winning ticket.
