Hillary Clinton’s legal adviser warns her — Time to lawyer up
New York Post ^ | October 3rd, 2015 | Ed Klein

Posted on 10/03/2015 5:53:27 PM PDT by Mariner

One of the Clintons’ oldest and most trusted legal advisers has urged Hillary to hire a criminal defense attorney to represent her in case she’s indicted for mishandling classified documents on her private e-mail server and for lying under oath.

The adviser, who has been a Clinton confidant for more than 30 years, laid out his concerns about Hillary’s legal exposure in a wide-ranging interview.

“This e-mail thing is spiraling out of control,” he said. “To paraphrase John Dean of Watergate fame, it’s a cancer on her candidacy.

“Frankly,” he continued, “I am used to my advice on legal matters being taken very seriously and acted upon by the Clintons. I’ve told them repeatedly that this FBI e-mail investigation could go in a very dangerous direction very quickly.

“I think Bill takes the matter seriously. But Hillary is still acting as though it’s a political smear job by right-wing zealots.”

OMG...Hillary might need to find some f-—ing Jews! LOL

(note: mocking phrase for Hebrew people that Hillary was alleged in a book to have said).

Personally, I vote for the perp walk. Or, to wake up one day to: "US Marshalls and the FBI today arrested Hillary Clinton at her home with the cooperation of Secret Service Agents present."

And it would be nice if one of those Secret Service agents was the uniformed agent who greeted her one day with a "good morning, ma'am" and reportedly received a "f--k off" response from her.

Can't decide if I want her to a) ignore this advice and proceed merrily onward only to be perped walked later. Or (b) Start saying "Under advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer that question."

The correct answer is c) "Who the f--k do you think you are to even ask this s--t of me! I don't answer to you, peons! F--k off!"

At this point what difference does it make?

Hillary must have lots of shit on Obama. If she doesn’t win, the next GOP President’s administration will put her in prison.

The FBI is looking into this and who knows where it will lead?

It will either lead to blackmail to get Clinton to drop out or be a puppet for the communist/ Obama wing of the party. The odds of it ever putting her in jail are very slim.

This is nothing more than dem party politics over control.

If anyone thinks this “leak” was in fact just out there without a purpose, one is sadly mistaken. This is a planted story. The question of course is who planted it and for what purpose.

The people surrounding her knew full well from day one this could be a real problem. They,or she, figured, wrongly, if they put out some BS commentary about it, it would just blow away as has everything else. But no, someone has been feeding a mostly pro Hitlery media with a series of info and evidence. So probably must of the info is coming from the FBI or security services.

Of interest to me, Hitlery has begun to more openly support the Kenyan’s policies directly. So, I sense the story came from within the administration, kind of a black mail (pardon the pun), to keep her in the tent during the election as they have the power to bring an indictment forthwith which would totally destroy her campaign at a minimum and could end up with her in the cooler. They do not want her moving a bit to the center. The message is: do not support the Kenyan, his lefty policies or take him on personally and you
will need a criminal attorney because that is where you are going.

While there is no love lost between the kenyan and the Clintoons, there is one thing they agree upon: they don’t want the dems losing the white hut. There are no alternative choices to Hitlery in reality and as such a Hitlery under blackmail is the best solution.

Unless they have both agreed to a pardon. This protects both parties.

“If Hillary follows the Bill model, she’ll end up in prison.”

Wait. . .she already does follow his model. . .chasing all the skirt she can and it hasn’t sent her to prison yet. . .

“What’s so sad is that in our country she is still running for president and with a chance. Pathetic”

Agree completely. We are really in the dumper thanks to the Clintons and now to clinch the decline, the Obamas.

Even this meeting with her “legal adviser” is just another cynical ploy by Hillary the Witch:
her lawyer has an ethical duty to keep confidential any communications he/she has with his/her client.

But it seems to me that the article makes the Witch out to be oblivious that she should “lawyer up” when in point of fact the Witch would have to specifically authorize (and in writing would be a good idea for her atty) this mouthpiece to broadcast what they discussed—or even that they met.

The point? She wants donors and other supporters to think she is bravely `going it alone’ when in fact she has several legal contingency plans ready to go.
Keep in mind that these people have been dodging and fighting civil and criminal prosecutions for about 30 years.
It’s obvious she is gravely ill, physically—and mentally, but we’ve known that for many years—so if she had any dignity at all she would retire and spend her Depends years throwing her money in the air like Scrooge McDuck in his vault, instead of continuing to frighten children and horses with her crazy eyes.

Unless it was done at the behest of the client.

I suppose you are right, but I cannot see any logic to the Clintons wanting this kind of story out there. I remain very skeptical of the article.

No legal entity can make Klein divulge the name. The last thing the Clintons would want to do is file a civil suit.

If this article were legitimate, the Clintons would know who is talking. Further, they would not file a civil lawsuit, but a confidential bar complaint. Big trouble for the lawyer.

"Big trouble for the lawyer"

Even if the conversations were considered casual and there was no expectation of Attorney-Client confidentiality?

If so, I believe you have a point. But seems to me if this person was not acting as counsel, it's a purely private and civil matter.
