While I don’t agree with everything Putin does and I’d never live under that type of government, I must say it’s interesting to watch a leader with balls do the job that the UN and obama/ValJar refuse to do.

Well somebody has to do it.

Too bad America doesn't have a leader with gonads.

150,000 is a lot for a Syria civil war. Maybe they’ll move on into Iraq.

It was my understand that the conscription event in Russia this past week is an annual event and not directly linked to activities in Syria. Is that incorrect?

Obama is going to scream....more sanctions...more sanctions.

The only problem is...just a few days back he told Putin to do what he had to do....but eventually, Assad had to go.

Except our dumb a** president hasn't decided who should replace him. This is the identical cr** Obama pulled in Libya....and the successor was worse than Khadafi...and lo and behold....ISIS came...

I don’t support the USA frittering away our GI’S and our treasure in the ssxt hole they call the Middle East whether it be Syria or Iraq. They should be on our border actually defending America. Let the Middle East solve their own problems.

The Russians were a lot stronger in Afghanistan and the Afghans were, initially at least, weaker than ISIS is now. But moral is probable higher in the Russian army now than it was among all the Soviet (really Uzbek) troops. And let’s face it, Arabs are not Afghans. Let’s see how the Russians do this time around.

We do not have 150,000 armed troops at this point. Te Army has 450,000 total troops, but less than 20% are actually armed front line troops. The remainder are support (logistics, clerical, intelligence, maintenance, transportation, etc).
