Dhimmicrats - stepping over the still warm bodies of children and others to advance their political agenda since the Civil War.

I trust Carson about as much as I trust Hillary...

I still won’t vote for someone who was against going after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan following 9/11. I said from the get-go that trying to impose a central government would fail. We should have treated the place as what it is, a collection of city states and tribes, bribed those we could and killed those we couldn’t. But if a nuclear Pakistan can’t control their tribal areas, it was a fool’s errand to try to create an Afghan government that could control their territory. But to do nothing but negotiate with the Taliban as Carson suggested would have been worse.

Here is the specific quote from BC that explains his change:

“Some will say that they see no problem with small handguns and hunting rifles, perhaps even shotguns,” he writes. “They are opposed to more powerful weaponry such as assault rifles and armor-penetrating ammunition. I too was a member of that camp until I fully recognized the intent of the Second Amendment, which is to protect the freedom of the people from an overly aggressive government.”

Most people don't realize this. BC has internalized this and can now support the 2nd Amendment in its entirety. The msm and government wants us to believe that the 2nd Amendment is just about sporting, targeting, hunting, etc. But BC gets it... worth repeating again,...

...the intent of the Second Amendment, which is to protect the freedom of the people from an overly aggressive government

He knew he had a bat’s chance in a henhouse of winning the nomination if he didn’t “evolve” on the issue?

Ben Carson said that he does not see a legal way to stop abortion but only in changing hearts.

The heck with that, aint happening, we are still only hopefully 1 appointment away from the Supreme Court

So I say Carsons answer is the wrong one, hey if Planned Parenthood does not change hearts nothing short of a miracle will change hearts

Yes I believe in miracles but thats not how my Bible says things will end

He’s still not my guy, but I really like the way he’s educating people on islam and sharia.

It’s a good thing when a public figure changes their mind and sees the light. I like his reasoning too.

I’m taking the optimistic outlook on his new view, the cynical one is sure to be well represented!

i was shocked ... asked my wife, if that for sure was carson speaking ... said she heard it too ... i was really disappointed

“...perhaps even shotguns”

Now that there is funny! Spoken like the true anti-gun politician he is.

Looks like he has a very reasonable explanation for his change in belief. Sign of a good man who is willing to change his position based on additional facts.

It wasn't that long ago that he opposed weapons in populated areas.

BE WARE of political wannabes who 'evolve' during a political campaign.

Pretty convenient reconsideration by Mr. Carson, ok, if so then President Cruz may appoint you director of BATF. You still don`t get my vote, Mr. amnesty!

Ben Carson is not the best candidate on the Republican ticket, but I intend to vote for him if nominated.

Prefer Cruz, but looks like it is Trump for the win. Hopefully he will stay as conservative as he is talking and also pick a conservative VP like Cruz.

Sorry not voting for this gun grabber, he sounds like he prescribes his own meds. I’m also sick of the “token” candidates as well. I have minority fatigue

Once again, he’s following whatever Trump says. America needs a leader, not a follower.
