First on CNN: Trump sent prank care package to Rubio

Donald Trump is making headlines for pranking Marco Rubio with some of his own water, which he sent to Rubio to mock the fact that he sweats a lot:

CNN – Donald Trump is escalating his attacks on Sen. Marco Rubio with a special delivery for his rival: “Trump Ice Natural Spring Water.”

Trump has previously trained his fire on Rubio, claiming he has the worst voting attendance record in the U.S. Senate and that he sweats a lot. But CNN learned that the Trump campaign sent a “care package” to Rubio’s Washington campaign office that contained a 24-bottle case of “Trump Ice Natural Spring Water,” with Trump’s face on it, two “Make America Great Again” towels and bumper stickers and a note reading, “Since you’re always sweating, we thought you could use some water. Enjoy!”

A Trump campaign aide said they added the towels “for him sweating,” and described the overall gesture as a lighthearted prank.

You do not get it. If Trump spent all his time running through his detailed positions on illegals, federal income tax, foreign trade and such, people will get bored. Every time Trump has a rally or appears on a TV interview, he gets huge audience exactly because it is never boring.

Are you always such a sour puss? Yeah, the news and times are serious, but what can any candidate do about it right now? Not a da** thing is what. We’ve had nothing but misery these past 7 years and Americans need to learn how to laugh again - so lighten up Francis - or buy yourself a sense of humor. This is the primary season - all’s fair in love and politics.

As Ann Coulter noted, Rubio is devious and can’t be trusted. Now FOX is pushing him. The latest a mushy plug by Hume.

but he needs to put something on the table besides sideshow sensationalism.

So, I guess you haven’t read his position papers on some very small, inconsequential items, such as the 2nd amendment and his tax policy? Have you hear what he has to say about Russia and ISIS? Really, if you’re going to support another candidate, stand up and say so, but don’t squawk about “having to put something on the table” for Trump.

I enjoy the TRUMP threads.

The children of the left really get annoyed. They have no real idea of what is going on.

Please don’t try to lecture others when you don’t even know how the primaries work.

Right now, Hillary Clinton is not Trumps opponent, and she may never be.

None the less he’s been sending zingers her way a lot. You didn’t know that?

Rita, this will be fine with most folks.

Those who don’t like Trump will throw a fit. Guys do this sort of stuff, and it’s hilarious.

Rubio will respond and do it in such a way he will look silly. You just watch.

If you think Trump was silly, just wait...

This is good natured fun. It’s not a dirty trick.

I guess my feeling that republican party candidates should talk issues more than trash is not an accepted position.

OK- good enough. I'll hold my tongue and watch the food fight.

I talk snark, but I’m not trying to drive you away. Slap me up side the head with some of your own snark.

You may not have heard it, but Trump unloads on Hillary quite often. It appears to me there’s no love lost between them. He’s always talking about her vulnerability on the server issue.

At any rate, don’t let me influence you not to join in.

Go for it.

"Trump unloads on Hillary quite often. It appears to me there’s no love lost between them"

The appearance at his wedding is not only confusing, it's a bit to cozy to explain away as business as usual.

Trump was married to Melania on January 22nd, 2005.

Hillary Clinton was a United States Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009.

Hillary Clinton was a former First Lady, sitting Senator, and possible future president of the United States.

If you were a successful businessman having to clear hurdles in your state, you wouldn’t have Hillary Clinton there?

Sadly, you would. It’s one of those things a very high profile business person does.

If you wish to make something of it, go ahead.

Trump is going after her almost daily. He’s hitting just the right things to cause her the most grief too.

Would you rather he not voice an opinion on her treachery?

LOL, count me out on that idea. He can trash her all he wants.

I am fully supportive of him digging on her as much as he can.

The moderators have spent much of two debates asking republican candidates to respond to what Trump said about them. So, let's see him lay down some charges about Benghazi, money laundering and bimbo intimidation to force the media hacks into a corner. If they let her skate through a debate without addressing points he makes they will be giving all the republicans an open door to go after them.

He trash talks her all the time. He hits her much harder than he is hitting those running against him right now.

There’s only so much you can do. They have hearings going on, and that’s where the information needs to come from. The FBI is looking at these matters too. So about all Trump can do is talk in general terms. When he does, he really lets her have it.

It might be nice to have specifics, but he hasn’t investigated her. The Republicans need to summarize what they’ve found.

If they weren’t so focused on taking Trump down maybe they would.
