I called my grandkids mom one evening and I could hear the oldest boy sobbing his heart out. I asked her what was wrong with him. She said “ he just got done watching Old Yeller” He was about 7 at the time.

This is a neat seven-minute video about Disney live-action films. It includes an interview with a mature Kevin Corcoran (around 4:38).

I am 68, so was a bit older- gut wrenching sobs. Was Kevin in Corkie and White Shadow?

He was 66. First diagnosed with colorectal cancer 5 years ago.

Any male, over the age of 40-50 who doesn't have a sigmoidpscopy..is just plain nuts..Despite all the jokes, it's not that bad..the prep is the worst part..and even better, if it's a clean test, and if there is no family history..you're OK for another 10 years.

OK, all you guy FReepers...fess up..and, like the FReepathon, let's "get 'er done!"

Old Yeller was a beautiful and moving movie
Yes it was and when I watched it as a kid, I cried at the end........

Raise your hand if you didn't. Hands? Hands? Hands? No hands raised! Everyone cried at the end.

I saw it as an adult and cried.

I also saw THE YEARLING as a kid and cried.

I had to put a wonderful dog down a few months ago. I called my family and we all cried.
