Could the two leading GOP candidates pull together to become the ultimate outsider ticket? Top Republican Donald Trump didn't say no to joining forces with the man polling at No. 2, Dr. Ben Carson. 'Well, I like him, he likes me,' Trump said. 'I mean stranger things have happened.'

I would prefer Cruz, but Carson is probably a good strategic choice in terms of churning out votes. That does not mean I support that team.
He needs Ted Cruz to make it a rock solid ticket that will give us a Conservative when Trump leaves office.
Trump has the executive experience and financial expertise.
Cruz has the Constitutional and courts expertise.
Together they’d be a powerhouse.
Trump is letting the BALANCE TICKET nut jobs rule the day.
NO! Make it a full blown Conservative ticket as close to Constitutional expertise as you can.
Ben Carson IS NOT the right man for VP either...
A Trump - Carson team will never get my vote.
Positively a third-party vote with that ticket.
Democrat/Unqualified. Great for America!
What if Carson doesn’t want to be his running mate?
I think it would guarantee him the nomination. We already know that opposition to a black man is rassism.
An amnesty proponent, that`s a deal breaker for me.
That only applies to republicans. The media and dems (one in the same) can’t be racist.

Carson will not be an issue at all, the powers that be will have ‘HermanCain’ed’ him way before then.
Haha! I really like him.
Funny how someone who can actually win from our side is so hated. There are times I think our side actually likes losing so they can bitch more.
Wouldn’t Carson being 7th Day Adventist hurt with the Evangelicals? Then there are his amnesty and gun positions.
“He will pick whatever running mate best ensures he will win.”
No way!
Cruz would be an ideal VP if elected, but about the worst choice to try to win the election. Cruz doesn’t add anything to a Trump ticket. It would be very risky for Trump to select Cruz.
Not everything a candidate says to a reporter trying to get something started should be taken literally. 99 out of 100 candidates would have had the same response.
Maybe. He’s an accomplished physician with a decent record outside politics.
I doubt he has Cain’s past.
Either way, I wouldn’t vote against him but wouldn’t vote for him either. He’d be fine as VP or some other position other than POTUS.
Nope.
Cruz agrees with Trump’s agenda.
Folks are buying into Trump’s agenda.
They will buy in for both guys if Cruz is the V.P.
Some idiot or another will try to convince Trump it’s best to pick someone who doesn’t agree with his agenda, to “Balance the Ticket”.
Reagan fell for that with Bush. And the moment Reagan was gone, Bush strarted dismantling the agenda he never comprehended or adopted.
We DO NOT want that.
We want Cruz because Cruz will continue the Trump legacy.
That is vitally important.
Trump is going to win this going away, with Cruz.
I think as long as he’s only the VP and The Donald is in control, Dr. Carson would be a good choice. I prefer Ted Cruz, and Allen West is a good one as well. So many would be pretty solid choices.
Most Christians respect Seventy-Day Adventists. They consider them to be honorable people.
They may not buy into their teachings, but they do respect them.
They have high morals, respect God, respect the family unit, try to avoid divorces, adultery, and dishonesty.
