This is passage from one of Webb’s books. There is just no context that could explain how anyone other than a twisted freak could put this down on paper:

Lost Soldiers (2001)

“A shirtless man walked toward them along a mud pathway. His muscles were young and hard, but his face was devastated with wrinkles. His eyes were so red that they appeared to be burned by fire. A naked boy ran happily toward him from a little plot of dirt. The man grabbed his young son in his arms, turned him upside down, and put the boy’s penis in his mouth.”

Bantam Books, N.Y., 1st Ed., 2001, page 333

I Hope your not serious about supporting Jim Web? Here in Virginia when senator, he supported Obama and Reid nearly 100% ... including No .... that’s zero ... opposition to Bomba care. Also, I wrote Web several times while he was senator, and he never bothered to reply!

Then there are his amnesty and gun positions...

and CARSON’s stand on social issues.

BEN CARSON - ON SOCIAL ISSUES (DISTURBING)
Carson has expressed support for same-sex civil unions, and following the Supreme Court’s ruling legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states, he conceded the fight was over by declaring the ruling the “law of the land.” (Newsmax)

Despite maintaining a strong pro-life record, in a 1992 interview, Dr. Carson said that while he does not perform abortions, he personally referred women seeking abortions to other doctors. In the same interview, he said that he “would never advocate it’s illegal for a person to get an abortion.” (Baltimore Sun)

Dr. Carson co-authored a medical research paper in 1992 where he outlined his support for the use of aborted baby organs for research purposes. Carson defended his past statements, saying, “To not use the tissue that is in a tissue bank, regardless of where it comes from, would be foolish. Why would anybody not do that?” Numerous

conservatives have expressed that by providing the demand that abortion providers will supply the market and that participating in this practice is being complicit. (Life Site News)

As revelations came to light about Dr. Carson referring the mothers of unborn children with potential birth defects to abortionists, his campaign defended the practice. A campaign spokesman said, “he [Carson] believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.” Pressed on whether Carson stands by his decision to do so, the same spokesman said yes. The statement is particularly troubling given that pro-abortion proponents use similar language regarding a decision between the patient and their doctor, but not mentioning the life of the child. (Politico)

Since news surfaced of a 1992 research paper co-authored by Dr. Carson that included the use of fetal tissue, Caron’s stance on abortion has come under immense scrutiny and his defense of his previous medical decisions has been troubling to many in the pro-life movement. When asked if Carson stands by his past decision to refer patients to abortion doctors, Carson’s Communications Director said “He believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.”Additionally, the spokesman went on to say that Carson believes that you can’t stop abortion by making it illegal. The spokesman told Politico, “he [Carson] has always believed that the battle over abortion had to be waged in the hearts and minds of Americans, that you cannot legislate morality. But he also believes we’re winning the debate.” (Politico)

In the 1990s, Carson was a board member of the Baltimore Charitable Foundation which gave $200,000 in grants to Planned Parenthood. When confronted with this fact, and asked if Carson knew about the grants a spokesman said, “it doesn’t really matter.” (Politico)

When asked if he would support abortion in the case of incest or rape, Dr. Carson said, “I would hope that they would very quickly avail themselves of the emergency room, and in the emergency room, they have the ability to administer RU-486 and other possibilities before you have a developing fetus.” RU-486 is an abortifacient that kills a fertilized egg by artificially denying it the ability to attach to the uterine wall. Using Dr. Carson’s own standard of life beginning at conception, this would then constitute murder. (Politico)

During the campaign Dr. Carson has struggled to define when he believes life begins. He told ABC News that life begins “when the heart starts beating” but later clarified that he meant conception. (Politico)

I assume Carson will drop down once the word gets out he is pro-amnesty.

Or that he and Al Sharpton have the same goal (Carson's words).I'm sure he's "clarified" that since he said it, but he did say it.

I think she should chose somebody who has been a governor or senator.

I wonder if he won’t pick someone who isn’t in politics and won’t have any baggage...could be a woman, could be a man...Trump isn’t saying...and in tonight’s speech in Iowa, he said he wouldn’t have Carly any where around his businesses, he wouldn’t trust her, so she’s out....

It is WAY TOO EARLY for Trump to pick his VP. And wisely, he has not. At the GOP convention, whoever has the 2nd most delegates in the bag will be the best pick for Trump, to secure the nomination.

I can live with any one of them except Bush who is openly pro-amnesty. All others are also against deporting illegals, which is a form of amnesty, no matter how you cut it. Cruz & Carson are border line amnesty, and must take orders from boss, so I am OK with them.

Good move by Trump. He’s losing support among evangelicals and picking Carson is a great way to get them back. Trump needs to do whatever he needs to do to win.

I sure hope Trump wouldn’t pick Carson. I don’t think he would, he’d pick someone with governor experience would be my guess.

No, Carson is a great doctor and a great man with a great American story but, we need administrative skills.

Trump/Cruz would work.

Cruz /Trump is my preferred choice, and to the obligatory “Trump would never play second fiddle” I say shoot, that is just a sad thing because, I would like to believe Trump loves this country and would want to serve it in this manner, if he is truly serious about repairing this country and is truly a patriot with the love of God and the Constitution in mind.
See how I use that word ‘Truly’It’s because I'm don't trust Trump 100%, I would have to see what Trump does to believe him, with Cruz, I already trust him as the ‘Constitutionator’.

Anyway, Teds got this big grassroots plan and some real work cut out for him I do believe there is a lot of spiritual opposition to Cruz, he takes narrower stances on the values issues that ring with Christians such as myself, and quite frankly We are on a path to greater persecution than this continent has ever seen unless we get some God fearing leadership.

Cruz has got to spend that money!! Especially when Trump gets the free celebrity publicity status all the time.
He is one hell of a politician and he is whipping up the emotional momentum for sure.

Either guy is going to need heavy security because of the weight of the changes these men are wanting to make.
There would be crazy opposition and by crazy people.

What are your thoughts on Jim Webb as VP? I know, Trump won’t consider him & Webb would never take a VP spot...just some thoughts, PRO & CON?

Your opinion on LT. Col. Allen West as VP?

He and Cruz would make a great team. But if came down to Trump I’d like to see the Lt. Col. as VP or Sec of Defense to rebuild our Military 0 has destroyed. Lt. Col. West would be good in either slot. We need a Pro Military man in a TOP POSITION.

He has said time after time that it’s too early to focus on a VP yet. I’m sure he has some in mind, but, he is right - it’s too early to throw names out there. He said that he would hire Carson in his administration - that doesn’t mean as VP either. I don’t know who is supporting Carson, but, I think Cruz would be a better fit - he can solidify the conservative and evangelical voters. Trump did say one time that he probably would pick a politician as a running mate, and that to me - means Cruz. However, and I wouldn’t like it one bit - he just might go with Rubio, who is polling higher than Cruz in all polls. so, let’s wait and see. I don’t put much stock in this article - it’s bogus.

I would suggest Rick Santorum, only because he has the best agenda on immigration. And he knows inner workings of congress. In order to pass his agenda, President Trump will need someone with good relationships with other congress critters. In that regard Cruz does not have many friends in senate. Cruz should be groomed for SCOTUS, with his knowledge of constitutional issues. May be AG first.

“Many are saying he needs a female on the ticket. Don’t know about that either.”

Naa, no reason for Rubio. I think that Cruz is best as one of Trump’s few weaknesses is bring in hard-core conservatives.
