Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, a constitutional conservative, sat down with The Blaze founder Glenn Beck on Monday and talked about Cruz’s historic Senate floor calling out of Obama’s Mitch, Surrender Caucus Leader McConnell, for lying to “every” Republican senator about the reauthorization of the cronyist Export-Import Bank.
“Mitch McConnell — the majority leader — had looked me in the eyes — he’d looked every other Republican senator in the eyes and he had promised explicitly that he had not made a deal to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank,” Cruz recalled to Beck. “He looked me in the eyes — he said, ‘There is no deal. I promise you I’ve made no deal whatsoever.” He said that publicly,” Cruz remembered from the June conversation.
Cruz later learned McConnell had in fact struck a deal to please his masters at the U.S. Chamber of Crony Capitalism and that he was stunned when the RINO relics of old, Orrin Hatch, Lamar Alexander and John McCain were outraged, not be McConnell lying, but livid that Cruz would expose McConnell as a liar on the Senate floor. Instead of slapping McConnell with an ethics violation or worse, they attacked Cruz instead.
“The amazing thing is, the old bulls in Washington reacted as I had lit myself on fire and it’s — you know — sort of like the emperor has no clothes. Nobody reacts with any surprise — any astonishment that the majority leader lied to every Republican senator and the American people. That’s not news. What is shocking, SHOCKING [to the GOP establishment] is that anyone would say out loud that he, in fact, lied. Here’s what he said. Here’s his conduct which is directly contrary.
It’s like getting mad at the person who is saying, ‘The emperor has no clothes,’ rather than telling the emperor to ‘put some clothes on.'”
Ted Cruz continues to be a thorn in the side of the establishments in both political parties. He continues to gain appeal from those voters who think corruption, cronyism, and the failure of Republicans to stand up to Obama on any issue, is a deep and growing problem.

McConnell with no clothes.
Thank you for tattooing that image on my retina....

Hard to imagine, but back in the days of yore, Mitchie the turtle was once held in not so high esteem ....a few inches off the floor. Those high living days are long gone. Now he is no higher than an earthworm squiggling through the compost heap and searching for a fish hook The individual is such an imbecile. His fights get no further than an attempt to open a tin can. Despised x infinity. That’s pretty much hated.
Great line!
Cruzing!
RESIGN!!!!
I am not quite sure what is up with Senator Cruz. I totally understand him being upset with McConnell. However, he could be working with Senators and even House members trying to get some support on HIS proposals. He never does that. I don’t get it. If he gets a super majority to vote for his bills, he can then have a good fight with McConnell. As President, he will have to do this so why not do it now? That is one thing I never understood with him.
One should also be reminded that there were undoutedly some Senators in attendance that knew the deal was done and purposely kept quiet. They ALSO were lying to the others.
“However, he could be working with Senators and even House members trying to get some support on HIS proposals. He never does that.”
I’m sure he does do that. Some senators do support the bills he endorses or bills he writes. He can’t get a majority due to many following McConnell’s orders. Also, McConnell can stop any of Cruse’s bills from coming to the floor for a vote.
[He cant get a majority due to many following McConnells orders]
They want to silence TED CRUZ. The bills he sponsors or endorses are not being passed, but his message is getting out loud and clear,
