Then what was the point in bringing it up at all of he wasn't trying to use it against Carson?
You have NO idea of what happens when a person gets to Heaven...none!!
Not so at all, Christ founded the Catholic church PERSONALLY, and in so doing, instituted in her the authority to carry on His will. The Catholic church has been a stalwart defender and interpreter of Christianity for 2,015 years and will continue until the end of time. Christ promised that and so far His promise is doing just fine...
If my "denomination" decided that same sex marriage was A-OK...I would, on the same day, question their Christianity and seek another "denomination".
The Catholic church recognizes ever your baptism of another if the proper form is used...All properly performed Baptisms are valid.....If you are properly baptized, you are a Catholic and need not be baptized again to rejoin the church.....doesn't matter by who, or where, or when.
WOW, thank you, I don't support either of them just like you...s/Hillary
and you know this how???
Because you haven't done it?
Several denominations such as LDS and JW do not use Trinitarian baptismal form and are not considered valid by the Catholic Church.
“Not everyone believes in the Bible either. Am I supposed to hate them? “
Where in the world did I say anything that suggested one should hate the seventh day adventists?
Apparently Biblical doctrine is unimportant to you. That’s fine. If it ever becomes important to you there are many books explaining how the seventh day adventists follow many non-Biblical doctrines.
I read many different translations. I prefer that of the King James... for many reasons.
Do you believes in eternal hell? If so please cite chapter and verse in the KGV where it says hell is eternal.
Many unBiblical doctrines?
Please list your top five...
This issue matters exactly zero this election cycle. It does, however, reliably stir up conservatives to attack each other each and every time the left wants to use this tired but very reliable tactic.
I can see where you might think I was inferring you hated the SDA church. I didn’t mean to imply that.
I meant it as a rhetorical question unrelated to your stance.
“Should Christians hate the non-believer?” or “Should Christians hate the followers of other religions, other than their own?”
This was a general stance I wanted to address. I am sorry it did and still may look like I was trying to caste you in that light.
At most I would say you have a strong aversion to the Millerites and SDA followers.
You mentioned the Millerites and their impact on the SDA church.
You seem to find both unacceptable as differing denominational ideologies.
There is ZERO chance any POTUS candidate will believe EXACTLY what I believe, so I am focusing on the economy, taxes, illegal immigration, regulation reform, defense, radical islam, etc.
p.s. I am a life-long member of the PC-USA and do not believe half of what they believe, however, I like the way the Church runs, the people and the fellowship.
That's true...if they don't use the correct form, they aren't Christian.
