Officials say there was a "a preponderance of evidence†that Township High School District 211, which is based in Palatine, Illinois, failed to comply with Title IX, the federal law that prohibits sex discrimination.
The student filed a complaint with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in 2013 after she was denied the right to have unlimited use of the girls’ locker room, the Chicago Tribune reports. A solution appeared to be in the works, until school officials put up privacy curtains in the locker room and said the student would be required to use the private area while changing.

Why are they not countering with rape stats? If these are intact males, letting them use girls/women locker rooms or bathrooms is asking for rapes to happen.

There are men today in prison for exposing their genitals to underage children, it was called child abuse. Now that the government is guilty of it, it is called enlightenment.

Patriots, please note that the only sex-related issue that the states have ever amended the Constitution to expressly protect, therefore giving the feds the specific power to legislatively address the issue, is voting rights. This is evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
So once again the corrupt federal government has overstepped its constitutional limited powers by creating a constitutionally indefensible PC right, presumably to win votes from low-information voters.
Note that the Founding States had established the federal Senate to protect the states from federal overreach. In this case the Senate should have killed the bill that established the referenced federal law.
So this is constitutionally indefensible federal law is another example why the states need to repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment and clean up the Senate.
