Donald Trump: If Ben Carson hosted ‘SNL’ nobody would watch
Yahoo Political News ^ | 11/5 | Matt Bai

Donald Trump is prepping for his upcoming role as host of “Saturday Night Live” the only way he knows how: by boasting about his ratings — and insulting his Republican opponents.

The real estate mogul, who was replaced as host of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” following his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants, says it’s no surprise NBC asked him to host “SNL.”

“You’re never at war when you get great ratings,” Trump said Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day.” “Nobody gets ratings like me.”

Agreed, especially with more than 90 days to go, because Trump isn’t going to play well in Iowa. His first victory may not come until NH and maybe not even then if he doesn’t tone it down. I can see it now. Feb 2nd, 2016.

IA Caucus: Someone Else #1
Trump #2

Trump: “I don’t understand it, I get much bigger crowds than the other guy. Who voted for this guy? They must all be idiots”...........

Truth is if you read the article, Carson attacked trump for his apppearance on the Show. So, Trump hit back. But you wouldn’t know this unless you read the article.

The article doesn't include what Carson says, and Carson didn't "attack" Trump. He said he wouldn't appear on SNL because ""I think the presidency of the United States is a very serious thing. . . . I don't even want to begin to put it in the lightness of comedy."

Trump responded by calling Carson a "complete and total loser."

Once again, playground insults from Trump. ::yawn::

Same here. I’m tired of the hits on those whose support he will need should he get the nomination. I think he feels threatened by Carson, and insecure, so he is now lashing out. The media has accomplished it’s goal - to pit them against each other by skewing the polls. That was the purpose and Trump’s ego can’t handle it. He should have stopped bragging about the polls - that was his Achilles Heel. I suggest everyone who supports Trump send him a note to stop the dissing. You can find the contact information on google. He needs to stop this crap!

There’s no such thing as a quote Hispanic race unquote. That term has been applied to those from individual South American countries some of which have governments hostile to US and actually claim parts of this country as theirs, and others which are friendly. They are composed of various races as we are, with the difference being their primary common language is Spanish.

This destructive utopian Mexican open border approach of even considering granting those who enter the US illegally through it. Entitlement to all benefits beyond those of what we give to our citizens destroys the value of an American citizenship. It is being promoted by the name callers mostly in socialist circles such as the democrat party as well some republicans who use such terms as nativist promoting racial division .

What we should be doing is taking a very very hard look at our relationship with Mexico along with trade and its myriad misstreatment of Americans as 2nd class citizens and its claims on American territory . While we are expected to allow Mexican citizens enter to our country illegally and offer them preferential treatment over our citizens allowing them to purchase land in their own name and and even voting privledges which they cannot do if they choose to retire in Mexico.

The leading Republican candidates and that includes Trump may mention some of this but thus far have refused to identify the problem let alone properly redress it by suggesting or implementing reciprocity.

I don’t disagree, but if Trump doesn’t temper his delivery, he’ll never get sent to DC. There are WAY more people than we here at FR that have to vote for Trump to send him and he needs to woo some of them too. Otherwise, we’ll get Rubio or Jeb and then Clinton

He’s not calling Carson a Commie.

He’s stating the plain truth.

Does Carson have tens of thousands of people show up at his rallies?

Yes it did. And you know it.

It said Carson said that Trump should not appear while running for President.

You just hate Trump and you never fail to show up with your bag of venom on all Trump threads.

It doesn’t help Cruz any. Waste of time.

yeah me too. I had reservations about Trump in the beginning then moved to being a supporter..even sent him a few bucks and went to a rally...but he has ZERO political allies. At some point, if he continues this way, we will see both Carson and himself falling.

Trump hardly ever goes after RAT policies or obama...

This wont sit well with Trump followers. But if Trump told them to drink muslim vomit they would jump to it!

How come you are not running the winning campaign if you are so sure of yourself?

-— You know, at some point The Donald is going to have to rise up above these petty insults and act, well...like he’s above all the minutia and bickering. -—

Yeah. It’s wearing thin. Carson doesn’t deserve this. The Democrat media, yes. But not Carson.

After a while you begin to think that he doesn’t have anything else. Kinda like Don Rickles.

No. Stop lying. The article said that Trump "dismissed Ben Carson’s criticism of his decision to host the sketch-comedy show while running for president," but did not include Carson's actual comments. I included Carson's comments in my previous post, which you ignored, because they show that you are lying - Carson did not "attack" Trump, and did not even say that Trump should not appear on SLN. Carson said that Carson would not appear on SNL, because he thinks that running for President is a "serious" thing.

How, exactly, does that justify Trump's playground insult response of calling Carson a "complete and total loser"? Is Trump in third grade?

I am not lying, you are. The article said Carson criticized Trump for his appearance on the show and mentioned that Trump should not appear while running for President.

“Trump, who first hosted “SNL” in 2004, dismissed Ben Carson’s criticism of his decision to host the sketch-comedy show while running for president”

Right there is what Carson said.
