Mob hitman who says he was the man on the grassy knoll and killed JFK to be released - and he still insists he did it
A man who claims he assassinated President John F. Kennedy has been moved this week from a high security jail to a less secure one in Illinois in preparation for his release next spring after 36 years behind bars.
James Files, 72, says that he was the man on the grassy knoll back on November 22, 1963, and that he fired the bullet into Kennedy's head that ultimately killed him.
Now, the CIA and other US secret agencies are preparing for scores of conspiracy theories as Files identifies himself yet again as the missing piece of the Kennedy story.

I like to hunt a small meadow that leads down into a small valley. I sit in the same spot every year among some trees around the perimeter.
If there are more than one deer present, when I take my shot all the other deer just freeze because they can’t tell where the sound came from.
Truman was a traitor to his own nation, I would take anything he says with a large grain of salt.
My kids asked about the assassination, and I was setting up a Raspberry Pi last week. I installed omxviewer and needed a test video, so I downloaded the Zapruder film.
I told the kids Kennedy died because of a shot from above and behind him from a high window to his starboard quarter.
I roll the video.
“What’s Kennedy choking on?”
“Whoa!! His head exploded.”
“Dad, that doesn’t look like a shot from behind him . . .”
My son is 12.
Same people telling you that CO2 is killing us is telling you Oswald was the only gunman.
That is to say, you can prove it, right?
Zapruder film tells a different story.
And what does the Zapruder film tell you?
The entry is very narrow and actually imparts relatively little direct force. As bullet traverses the skull it dumps energy/pressure into the contents.

The probability of a shooter positioned ahead of the limo is non-zero.
If this is the black and white footage of a test done by a pro “lone nut” theory “independent investigator” around the time of the Church Committee hearings in the early 70s, that “dummy’s head” in the test you cite was actually a human skull. It is trivial to conclude that a skull is not a head containing muscle and brain matter massively attached to a neck and sholders. It is also trivial to put the chin of the skull against a slightly raised nail head and get forward momentum converted to rearward motion as the bullet hits.
If you are referring to the Penn & Teller test on a mellon, gimme a break. Again, a melon is not flesh, brain and bone attached to a pair of shoulders.
Then you have to explain the flap of skull, skin and hair that flies rearward, the same flap that Jackie crawls onto the trunk lid of the limo to retrieve. In the Zapruder film you see JFK’s head jerk violently backwards with enough momentum to pull his upper torso backwards as well. None of the so called “tests” showing paradoxical movement generate anything close to the foot pounds of force necessary to move that amount of mass backwards.
In order to avoid allowing the tsunami of evidence pointing to a mob/CIA/Permindex assassination from entering your critical awareness, you need to be an ideological robot.

Well I guess I’ll translate that and GUESS that you mean we can’t be 100% certain there wasn’t a shooter positioned ahead of the limo. Sure, I’ll concede that point.
Look, if you’re a conspiracy theorist NOTHING will convince you your theory is wrong. It’s kind of like those Geico commercials say, “It’s what you do”.

I Have and a single shooter would NOT take the shot taken.
I never said there was a conspiracy, however you don’t just decide one day you are going to whack out the POTUS and then do it. As such, somebody had a plan.
Even more stunning was how Oswald was shot before he could testify to anything. I rewatched the day’s coverage and nobody could believe it when Oswald was shot, and everybody thought the probability it was a coincidence was very much non-zero.
So, if you concede there’s a non-zero chance there may have been a shooter ahead of Kennedy who delivered the insurance shot, you’ll probably have to concede there’s a non-zero chance two lone gunmen got out of bed and decided to commit the acts they did that day.
That doesn’t make me a conspiracy theorist. I’m only suggesting there isn’t enough evidence to convince me beyond a reasonable doubt that Oswald was the shooter and acted alone.
Maybe it was LBJ who ducked.
Someone once claimed that LBJ was tying his shoes when the shots rang out.
Again, I don’t know if that claim has been established, but hmmmm......
If that be so, it then proves that the Government wanted 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles banned (as they were in 1968) to really protect American gun makers Remington, Winchester and Savage from cheap foreign competition.

My thinking is that only the Mob had cojones enough, skill enough and motive enough to do it.
The same rifle the Italian Army team continue to use in NATO matches more than a decade after the general army reequipped with the M14.
