Hillary Clinton trails 4 GOP candidates in this deep blue state
Washington Examiner ^ | 11/9/15 11:59 AM | Ryan Lovelace

A new survey of Minnesota voters shows Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton trails a handful of GOP candidates in hypothetical head-to-head matchups. Clinton's failure to fend off challenges in the Midwestern blue state - ranked the second most liberal state in the union in 2014 - shows just how much the Democratic juggernaut may be struggling.

Ben Carson leads Clinton 50-41 percent in the KSTP/SurveyUSA poll, Florida Sen Marco Rubio wins 47-41, Carly Fiorina bests Clinton 45-41, and Donald Trump has a three percentage point edge on Clinton too, 45-42. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, whose poll numbers have dropped nationwide, leads Clinton by one percentage point in a virtual tie, 44-43.

But the most troubling news for Clinton out of Minnesota might be her performance among independent voters.

Hillary may want to consider having an affair with Monica Lewinsky.

If Bill could run again, he would do well. It is Hillary Rodham that is the issue, not her married name.

I doubt Monica is up for an affair with another Clinton. The last one left a bad taste in her mouth.

You know, it's amazing when you See her as just Hillary Rodham, it puts a whole new perspective on it. It's as if she came out of the blue, hey, here's this lady named Hillary Rodham, . . she wants to run for President. . she's gonna run, yeah see, she's a woman, just like Sharron Angle. . so vote for me.

BTW, I like Sharron Angle. She would have been good for Nevada. She did get 45% of the vote, more than slick Willie.

The fraud by the Minnesota Democrat machine will carry her over the line. MN will never be a red state.

It may push them to make some stupid moves

I’d like to believe this, I really would. But you know Democrat voter fraud in Mineapolis/St Paul will be epic.

Winning MN would be significant. I will note however that “deep blue” is abjectly false and not just because the democrats real color is commie red.

Because Mondale was from their it’s the state’s that gone the longest without voting GOP for President but it’s not the most dem-voting state for President, not by a damn sight. It was Kerry’s 5th closest win in 2004, a hair worse than Michigan. An “strong” GOP win would likely see the state fall to us.

States like MA, RI, HI, VT, NY were the GOP frequently fails to crack 40% are the ones that deserve the “deep blue” moniker.

MN is on the edge of being a swing state and is trending away from the dems. Since the 1998 the GOP has more often controlled the state House, though statewide victories come hard.

I guarantee no matter who the nominee is, Minnesooota WILL vote for the democrat!

Name and notoriety means NOTHING in Minnesota, only party affiliation!

Maybe it’s beginning to dawn on Democratic voters that their party won’t be conducting an actual presidential primary-election process for 2016.

Now that Joe Biden has decided not to run, and the odds of Bernie Sanders winning a majority of delegates is astronomical, Hillary will be coronated, not nominated, so there will be nothing for Democratic voters to do in the run-up to the DNC Convention.

On the other hand, the Republicans are going through the full messy process of democratically electing a presidential nominee. So the Republican candidates are bound to get a lot of attention from Democratic voters, many of whom will pick a Republican favorite whom they may well support against Queen Hillary in the general election.

While Hillary spends most of the next year picking out her crown and scepter, democracy in America will be wholly conducted by the Republicans. Which should give a big boost to the Republican party.
