Actual Title:President Obama has made history by becoming the first sitting U.S. president to pose for the cover of an LGBT magazine.
Obama is on the cover of Out magazine’s latest Out 100 issue as the publication’s “Ally of the Year.â€
“The 44th President of the United States is our Ally of the Year—a president who came to office on a wave of euphoria, appeared to lose momentum halfway through, and has since rallied, helping us secure marriage equality, among other landmark initiatives that are transforming our place in America,†the editors of Out wrote in an article accompanying the cover.
Obama granted a wide-ranging interview to the LGBT publication, weighing in on his administration’s focus on LGBT rights, the “generational difference†in his daughters’ attitudes toward homosexuality and the role the United States could play in challenging the human rights records of more restrictive regimes in Middle Eastern countries.
Obama told the magazine his fight for equality began “from when I was a kid, because my mom instilled in me the strong belief that every person is of equal worth.â€
Obama explained:
At the same time, growing up as a black guy with a funny name, I was often reminded of exactly what it felt like to be on the outside. One of the reasons I got involved in politics was to help deliver on our promise that we’re all created equal, and that no one should be excluded from the American dream just because of who they are. That’s why, in the Senate, I supported repealing DOMA [the Defense of Marriage Act]. It’s why, when I ran for president the first time, I publicly asked for the support of the LGBT community, and promised that we could bring about real change for LGBT Americans.

American Girl, I used to get that as a child. The subject was never talked about in my family and I only remember reading in the paper about somebody who went to Sweden for a sex change operations.
My point is I wouldn't have to ask what was going on with the photo on front. I would have wanted to cancel my own subscription. The comments were libs trashing a conservative mom of some Family Group, the only one who dared to speak up.
People say it's nice gay married men or not adopt children. I did decide a long time ago that maybe better than being abused but growing up that way could be a form of abuse.
It occurred to me that maybe those men were using the children to make people think what fine people they were to take in children, what's not to like about that?
All I can say is imperfect though my home was, it was a good home nonetheless, and I'm thankful I grew up with my real mom and my real dad. All the adopted kids I've ever known who didn't know their bio parents, it left a huge longing or void in their lives. Some did have to face that their mom's led bad lives and didn't want them which they never get over. Maybe some adopted kids don't have issues about it as adults.
They call him (straight) ally only because they don’t want to out their hero.
Ironic, no?
The plural of “Bush” is “Bushes,” not “Bush’s.”
You think the Bushes have a problem with this? You still think the Bushes are patriots? They were owned by Hitler, and they have been owned by the Saudis for decades. We haven’t had a patriotic, American President since noon on January 20, 1989.
Amen! I do not see the need to be rude or making crude remarks against gays simply because one does not support it. I agree Jesus loves the gays just as much as the straight but he wants us all to turn to him and stop sinning. Don’t think straight folks are sinless simply because they are straight.
It’s all politics.
For those who will let Jesus into their souls, He can do that. For those who insist on staying lost no matter what, it’s a different story.
Granted, there is no way to tell from the outside short of a dramatic conversion.
Quite an accomplishment for a "magazine" that nobody has heard of, and probably has a circulation of 100.

This just in; the White House has announced that President 0bama is a flaming poofter.
In other news, the sun is expected to rise in the east again tomorrow.

I think he misspoke originally when he said
he’d lead from the rear. He meant he’d lead
WITH his rear.
Bad Vlad will burst out laughing when he sees this gay magazine cover with Obama on it. So will Arab nations leaders and the leaders of China. In fact most nations leaders will get a hearty laugh at this numbskull.
