Well, I thought the most interesting moment came when Donald Trump brought up Eisenhower:

Let me just tell you that Dwight Eisenhower-a good president, great president, people liked him. 'I Like Ike', right? The expression 'I Like Ike'? - moved a million and a half illegal immigrants out of this country, moved them just beyond the border: They came back. Moved them again, beyond the border: They came back. Then moved them way south. They never came back.

To the establishments of both parties and the media, Trump is beyond the pale. Yet he keeps, confidently, moving beyonder. And, as he does so, he's moving the pale.

Mark Steyn pointed out that Ike was the last “non-polictian” to be elected president. It takes a non-politician to do the heavy lifting because they are not eternally worried about running for re-election.

Deporting is very simple. As you begin to deport, take their fingerprints and very obviously put them in a big file cabinet marked "Never to be allowed back into the US" in Spanish and English.

Word will soon go viral amongst illegal aliens and a huge number of them will self-deport.

To get the rest out, eliminate free schools for illegal aliens, welfare for illegal aliens and jobs for illegal aliens.

Eliminate the jobs by using undercover, wired INS agents trying to get hired while declaring to be illegal. When hired, slap a fine and move on quickly to the next employer.

Anyone can think up an easy plan like this that works, amnesty politicians are the only fools that can't see it.

I listened to the Trump interview on Levin last night but couldn’t listen to the whole program.

But he is correct about deportation. All it takes is the will to do it.

A good question. One feature of the interstate highway system that wasn't talked about too much, was the concept that in the
event of a nuclear war in which Strategic Air Command bases were destroyed or made unusable, those nice big 4 and 6 lane
highways would serve as emergency runways for our B-52's, B-47's and other aircraft.
