In the Reuters/Ipsos 5-day tracking poll that samples 534 Republicans, over the last week, Donald Trump has surged to a massive national lead in the GOP presidential primary. Currently, the billionaire businessman sits at 42% with likely Republican primary voters. His closest competitor is Ben Carson, who sits at just below 25%.
Last week both men were pretty much tied up at around 25%. That is a 17 point surge for Trump.
Among all Republicans, Trumps enjoys a 34% to 20% lead over Carson.
Reuters adds that this “is also bad news for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is widely considered to be emerging as the establishment-backed alternative to Trump.”
Rubio remains stuck at 10%.

One event in a nation of over 300 million people is not a trend. Every religion but one stopped killing other religions long ago. There is no reason for no “wearing labeling wear” since we know exactly who the threat is. They should HAVE to wear a warning label: “Caution: May suddenly go into Sudden Jihad Mode if the wearer sees cleavage or a cartoon.”
Trump appears to be more electable after each speech. This should terrify the other candidates. The Beaumont speech was delivered with perfect pitch. He is fast becoming one of the best orators in recent history. No teleprompter, a few notes? No problem.

No, Trump picking Rubio would be Reagan picking popi Bush all over again. It was the biggest mistake Reagan ever made. I believe Trump learns from others’ mistakes. It would be foolish for him to pick anyone GOPee and especially foolish for him to pick an amnesty pimp like Rubio.

When you start talking Veeps the race is close to over. My best guess at this point is Cruz. He likes Cruz, Cruz likes him.
Beck has been dead to me for years, but I listened for a few just to hear the rants about Trump and see if there was any substance to his attacks. There wasn’t. Beck is now dead two times.
