Shots have been fired. Police heavily armed, going from room to room, guests told to stay in their rooms.
PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Police have evacuated the area around the Paris Eiffel tower and the surrounding Champ de Mars park, a Reuters witness saw on Saturday. Heavy police presence was seen at the Pullman Hotel on Avenue de Suffren near the Eiffel tower, another eyewitness, who lives along Champ de Mars told Reuters. He declined to be identified. Other witnesses also confirmed the presence of heavily armed police at the site of the hotel. (Reporting by Geert De Clercq and John Irish; Editing by Ingrid Melander)

Someone tweeted that the search is over but I’m not sure.
French police say there is an ongoing police intervention at the Pullman hotel in Paris. But they have denied reports on social media that shots were fired.

Bttt
21:02 Metro shut The Champs de Mars metro station has been shut. It is not clear if this is linked to the ongoing police operation at the Pullman hotel.
Shots heavily fired?? To an all clear and cordon lifted. Wow. Fog of war reports really.

I’m not sure what to think.
Fox..False alarm...All clear
This is not the time for some computer nerd to go ‘Swatting’ one of their enemies. Swatting = Sending police over to a strangers home based on a fake emergency, or Phoning in a fake order of say, 200 pepperoni pizzas deep dish, to be delivered to your next door neighbor. Done just for a giggle.
Too soon fellows, too soon.
Some guy questioning Karl Marx?
Two words in the thread title “Armed police”, is just so outrageously silly. I guess it’s because there is just no other way I can visualize a cop, being armed.
I have a feeling before it’s all over, all their police will be “armed”, including the other lib countries over there. Might even see the citizenry haul out some WWII goodies that still work.
Be fun to watch some 90 year old French WWII vet mow down some muzzies with his BAR.
I rented an apartment and stayed in Paris for about a month. I absolutely loved my time there. However, I will not set foot in Europe again while Muslims are trying to take it over.
Will probably never see it again.
Missed out on seeing Egypt.
Probably will never go to Israel.
Absolutely no Mexico.
Sheesh, maybe Alaska to see the Northern Lights. Will Ragheads brave the cold?
It continues?
It’s interesting to cast one’s mind back to November 2005 and another event in Paris.
