A Muslim woman and three other people were removed from a Chicago-bound flight in Maryland after being reported by a fellow passenger for 'watching news.'
Police said that one of the removed passengers on Spirit Airlines Flight 969 was watching a media report on his phone that caused a female passenger next to him 'some concern' and as a result four people were removed from at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
All four of the removed passengers were released without charges after a few hours on Tuesday morning.
America is on high alert following Friday's terrorist attack in Paris which killed at least 129 people and the removal of the family is just the latest of a series of incidents.

Post 'em. My father was a WWII vet and only had one. Not sure how you get five. Did you serve and separate from each of the uniformed services?

After each enlistment you get a DD214 and after 20+ years they accumulate. But you obviously don’t have a clue.

But in this report the family were not anything other than a American family, who happened to be muslim were removed from a flight because someones sensibilities were offended.

If it *were* a religion, then I might agree with you... but it's not -- Islam is a political force for controlling people, straight out of the 8th Century. As for innocence, no muslim is innocent. Sorry. Read the Koran and the Hadiths... I have. I find NOTHING there but calls for killing infidels.
Liberty is liberty. Freedom of speech is just that. Please don't confuse "prudence" with speaking truth.
Of course you don't have to provide anything. But, I do find the claim to five DD 214s to be extreme. You made the claim; all I did was ask you to prove it. If you "don't have to prove squat" then in my book, it's not true.
Maybe your claim of five DD 214s might have benefitted from .... dare I say it... "prudence"?

And no such thing as a professional DailyMail journalist. The comments sections are riddled with complaints about their poor wriiting, bad grammar and incomplete details. I go to DM for the pictures, however, and the general gist of things. They also have a different set of biases than the American press; so you can often read a story there that has been suppressed here.

Interesting, I found the following info from the VA website which would contradict your claim of having accumulated 5 DD-214's........

No. The DD214 is not issued for re-enlistments or promotions. You may have received a certificate stating you have been discharged from active duty pending your re-enlistment or promotion, but this is usually a simple formality observed as a protocol as part of the promotion or re-enlistment process.
When do I get my DD214?
The DD214 is usually issued at the final outprocessing appointment prior to retirement or separation.

Just talked with a friend who retired from the Navy in 1998, only one DD-214 but in accordance with the info in my prior post, he said he received a Certificate along with each re-enlistment......
