GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says the United States has "absolutely no choice" but to close down mosques where "some bad things are happening."
"Nobody wants to say this and nobody wants to shut down religious institutions or anything, but you know, you understand it," Trump said on Fox News's "Hannity" on Tuesday. "A lot of people understand it. We're going to have no choice."
Trump said on Monday he would "strongly consider" closing mosques if elected in response to the terrorist attacks in France last Friday that killed at least 129 people and injured hundreds more.
Pressed to explain his tougher stance on the issue, the GOP primary front-runner told Fox News's Sean Hannity that the security situation was changing "a lot faster than anybody understands."
"There's absolutely no choice," Trump insisted. "Some really bad things are happening and they're happening fast. Certainly a lot faster than our president understands because he doesn't understand anything."
Trump also highlighted his concerns with accepting Syrian refugees, saying he has "a feeling that a lot of bad things will happen."
"But yet we take everybody," he said. "We don't know where they come from, we don't know what their crime record is. It could be wonderful. It could be a disaster."
The businessman said if he wins the presidency, "they're going out."
"We can't take a chance. You know, if you take thousands of people, and again I hear it's going to be many more than what you're talking about right now. But if you take thousands of people, Sean, all you need is a couple. You know, you don't need 25, you don't need 100," he said. "Look at all the damage done in Paris with just a few people."

This. I believe in our Constitution.
Scientology is allowed, Brotherhood of Islam is allowed. Of course mosques should be allowed but any strong suspicion of terrorism being planned there, and a mosque needs to be opened to law enforcement.
It’s a theocracy.
Before OkBomb, maybe 50% of the people around McVeigh were federal agents, including the founder of Elohim City, uts Secuirty Director, and his GF, who was threatened with prison time if didnt work for the FBI.
Why not do THAT?
We could get the IRS to promulgate vilations against all Imams, threaten them with jail time if they dont fabricate allegations against those parishoners most limely to radicals.
As at Waco we could surround and incinerate non-compliant mosques, saying they had fully auto weapons and were beating babies.

I noticed the long robes and the head gear, but I didn't think anything nefarious was in the air, even as there were US military personnel and installations being blown up in the middle east.
The local mosque near my house is the one where the feds discovered CAIR activists who were members and later went to trial and were found guilty of actions related to 9-11. That happened during the Bush years.
Around the same time I noticed that the mosque had removed their Crescent from their roof. As if that act would suffice to keep them from being noticed.
I talked to a police chief and he told me that they are watching all of them.

Further increasing the power of the federal government by allowing it to ignore a fairly clear constitutional limitation is not a good idea. Whatever power we give to the government to further our policies will be used against us later,
I wonder where he would get the authority to “close mosques”. Why not “close churches” too? Better not start down that route.
Sorry to inform you but the terrorists are not waiting for anything. We have gotten past that point if we are to survive. King Obama has nearly destroyed any chance of wasting time.

No way.
Islam shares many of the same characteristics of a government. Arguably more traits than it shares with a true religion. Iran and other Islamic theocracies are good examples of this.
Any question that he would do what’s right for America?
I could see someone like an Obama twisting this to shut down Christian churches. Although I’m certain that some mosques are used as fronts for anti-American activity, parameters would have to be clearly drawn to prevent such a precedent from being misused by other administrations.
No matter what they say, or much they try to ridicule, Trump was right. The Trump Doctrine will help reduce the chances of Islamic terrorist attack happening again in America. Europe should take heed.
My understanding of the Trump National Security Doctrine includes:
Secure the borders. Secure the nation. Build a wall or barrier where necessary. Deport the illegals. Deport them all. Strictly enforce the immigration laws. End the PC crap. Recognize the enemy. Islam is the enemy. Moratorium on all Muslim immigration. No Trojan Horses. Reject Muslim refugees. Send them all back. Rigorously investigate the Muslim mosques and community centers and all such Muslim communities and hangouts. Close any that are found to harbor or foment terrorists, anti-America hatred or terrorism. Seize all the files and computers and the member’s cellphones, computers, etc, where fanatical activity is found and follow all leads, including searching their homes and domiciles. Prosecute or deport all violaters.
