Ryan plotting 'meaningless show vote' on refugees
WND ^ | 11/18/2015 | Leo Hohmann

House Speaker Paul Ryan is lining up a showdown vote for Thursday on President Obama's plan to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees in the United States.

But conservatives on Capitol Hill who want to see the refugee program halted are warning that Ryan's plan is nothing but a smokescreen designed to give lip-service while refusing to defund the program.

Ryan likely has no intention of cutting off the flow of Muslim refugees into the U.S., nor does he plan to ensure Syria's persecuted Christian minority gets rescued from the clutches of ISIS, sources told WND.

That never seems to work out though. The truth always comes out. Sword of Damocles. No matter what excuses they make, no matter how many times or how loudly they scream, no matter how many pictures they post, no matter how severe the blamestorm they conjure, the truth always comes out. there is only one truth.

And it will come out because anyone in the future studying this era is going to ask the 5Ws. Basic tenet of Journalism and scholarly research. And it is going to lead to one place.

That would be nice. Has anyone from YOUR state co-sponsired it? If not, why don’t you call your Congressman.

I notice that there are no cosponsors from Wisconsin, so I’ll geton the phone tomorrow. I know at least 2 Congresscritters personally that talk about measures like this all the time. It’s time for them to put up or shut up.

But seriously, Ryan has been in his office about 2 1/2 weeks. Give him a break. He’s doing what we all asked them to do on this legislation.

I posted this article on an action that I don't agree with. If Speaker Ryan does good things I will gladly support him.

We will DEMAND Ryan’s resignation .. if, because of his meaningless votes, there is an attack upon America.

And .. I’m getting more ticked off by the minute if this is really Ryan’s attitude.

Kisses? Hell they were tossing their panties at him.

We should dig up some old threads and get some slut shaming action going.

Were this a little more than 20 years ago, I’d go to DC and self-immolate. Truly. I was bad off in every way.

M Y LETTER T O Ryan:

Dear Mr. Paul Ryan,

I write to thank you.

Thank you for being compassionate about welcoming our Syrian refugees. They will be wonderful additions to our communities.

Their compelling interest in honesty and tolerance of others who disagree with their religion is truly remarkable. What would we do without them? What would they do without us?

For example, their treatment of women and children, even in the many boats on their ways to Europe, is the stuff of legend. Of course, their treatment of females as a whole and defense of any woman ‘at war’ with their own body parts is simply unparalleled. And the commitment to women’s education! The importance of these things cannot be overstated.

In sports, ever the sportsmen, their equal treatment of opposing teams is welcomed, indeed. Then again, their encouragement of practice for targets, head soccer, and head polo is well known. We can learn much from them.

Their attitudes toward cleanliness and personal hygiene, especially with their left hands, is one to aspire to. Right down to wearing comely materials and washing frequently, even their personal toilette on planes is well-renowned and understood.

But their graciousness in learning the art of meat cutting, as witnessed on the floor of the Paris concert hall, is something to wonder at. So fast! So effective!

So thank you for your permitting the federal government to place untold numbers of the Syrians in our neighborhoods. Do not forget to let us know how your little girls and boys enjoy playing with them. We also hope, should you like animals, that your dogs like them so much that the dogs want to play in their yards, too, the way you want the Syrians to come in ours.

May you come to know the Syrian x refugee x community so well that you can hold then dearly enough to within a hair taken from your head.

Please forward to any and all interested parties, government officials, and THEIR STAFFS, LOBBYISTS, and spouses.

Why do you disagree? This Bill requires that the Administration and the State Dept. certify that any immigrants admitted are not a threat to the US. Of course Obumbum will veto, but then he’ll be on record. Would you prefer no Bill?

“This Bill requires that the Administration and the State Dept. certify that any immigrants admitted are not a threat to the US.”

I agree, but this bill will not stop the influx of Muslim refugees that the Obama administration are now bringing to the U.S. The whole debate about “certifying” the Muslims Obama is bringing into this country is just a distraction. It does not prevent Obama from doing whatever he likes.

I hope that Speaker Ryan will cut off the funding($1.3 billion per year) for Obama to bring several hundred thousand Muslims into the U.S. If he does that I will gladly support Speaker Ryan.

“Would you prefer no Bill?”

I would prefer people stop lying to themselves and forcing their dangerousfantasy on the rest of weak minded America about what the GOP will ultimately do.

I don’t know what it is that drives some of the GOP apologists. Some are hard libs, sure. Bur some seem to act exactly like abused women after their husbands beat them bloody.

“Well he’s better than being alone...sob...” Look, if you like the abuse, be my guest. I don’t. Quite a few of us are fed up with excusing what our GOP ‘husband’ doing. And trusting then is the action of a fool.

What does it take to impeach Ryan, I thought this was the Peoples House. Surprised that Hannity let Ryan weasle out from the question; Hannity wants the immigration stopped, Ryan wants a pause. Time for Hannity to shit or get off the pot.

It takes people with principle and the Cancervatives ensured few such people remain in the GOP.

But they ‘won’ so thats all they care about.

What kills me are the FReepers who say”give Ryan a chance”. A chance to do WHAT? A chance to advocate WHAT? The mans recent history PROVES that the Chamber of Illegal Immigrants OWN him. Our record is safe.
