In a 60 Minutes interview scheduled to air November 22, Washington DC police chief Cathy Lanier said taking out the gunmen in a Paris-style attack is the “best option†for citizens between the time they call 911 and the moment police arrive.

It is obvious that the fear of the lawfully armed and concealed firearms carrier in the population of "victims" is what is stopping this. Gun control encourages the active shooter. The DC chief never came out and said get a CCW permit and arm yourself. And Anderson Cooper was clearly frightened that this was what she was going to say, so he tiptoed around that obvious inference. I was shocked to hear that female chief take that stance because she has been leading the DC charge against the 2nd Amendment ever since the Heller decision.
If only there were a small, hand held device of some kind that an honest person could use to defend themselves. Perhaps one could possibly even conceal it on their person so jihadi nut balls wouldn’t know who had one and who didn’t.

Her picture shows she has a lot of ribbons - was she ever on active duty? The report says she dropped out of public school at age 15 because she caught the “pregnancy” bug ....

She’s saying take them out, then run away with your gun. There are some with guns in DC. Use the stump that was their arm, but attack the MFs.....while waiting for the cavalry to come with the body bags.
don't kid anyone - in attacks like the were the police could actually be at risk they may be minutes away, but it will be hours before they intervene - after all they don't want to get hurt. They'd rather wait until all hostages are dead and dying before they make their move. After all what's more important citizens lives or the precious police?
I fully expect the terrorists to attack DC. They want high profile news and that would get them that. The irony is hilarious.
By “take them out,” I think he means to dinner and a movie. Who knows where it might lead?
