Illegal immigrant children, non-Mexicans surge across border at record rate

Some 25,000 illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala have been caught in the first seven weeks of the fiscal year, which began Oct. 1 — an increase of 58 percent. The number of Chinese, Brazilians, Indians and, strikingly, Cubans, has each surged by more than 100 percent, and the number from Pakistan, while small overall, has spiked from 6 at this point last year to 31 now — an increase of more than 400 percent.

The Southwest border has broken open in recent weeks, with non-Mexicans — and illegal immigrant children in particular — crossing at a record rate in October, according to Border Patrol statistics that suggest the administration’s victory lap earlier this year was premature.

Nearly 5,000 unaccompanied children were caught in October, and nearly 3,000 more had been caught in the first half of November — a record pace for those months — and it signals just how closely smuggling cartels and would-be illegal immigrants themselves are paying attention to lax enforcement in the U.S.

Worse yet, the increases are borderwide, with every one of the nine Southwest border sectors showing spikes in what the Border Patrol dubs OTMs, or “other than Mexicans.”

Those who track the issue said the surges show a breakdown in enforcement, and called it worrying at a time of heightened international danger.

“The greatest existential threat to this nation right now is this administration’s open-border policy. This is no longer about immigration, it’s about the president and DHS keeping open the corridors on the southern border that are accessible to anyone in the world,” said Rep. Duncan Hunter

“We can defend our country against another country’s navy, a missile threat.....But the president’s policy of allowing anyone into the nation as students or refugees presents a serious threat,” he said.

And the dildos in Washington think global warming is the number one threat to national security. We need to stop electing incompetent retards and community agitators.

If they came here via entry and exit to the US via Mexico, they are MEXICAN to me. This is diversionist crap meant to confuse and obfuscate a problem with a government to our south (Mexico) unabashedly ignoring their own laws with respect to illegal entrants and allowing (abetting) them to enter the US from their country.

If I were President, Mexico wouldn’t get a goddam nickel from us until it stopped this railroad. Not a damn nickel.

Mexican migration, which has dropped off dramatically in the last five years. But its being replaced by a bigger flow from Central America, particularly of women and children who are fleeing grim conditions back home and taking advantage of lax policies here in the U.S. that grant them access to the nations interior and leave little danger of them being deported anytime soon.

Indeed, in court documents the administration has admitted both the smuggling cartels and would-be crossers pay close attention to U.S. policies, and any perceived relaxation of enforcement entices more of them to undertake the perilous journey.

Thats exactly what illegal immigrants themselves are telling Border Patrol agents when theyre caught, according to an Associated Press report last month. The migrants say they believe that under Mr. Obamas policies, they will earn a permiso, or free pass, if they can reach the U.S. border.

Its the same story as last year, said Shawn Moran, spokesman for the National Border Patrol Council, the labor union that represents line agents. Our agents are still getting hammered.

Stephen Miller, spokesman for Sen. Jeff Sessions and the immigration subcommittee of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, said illegal immigrants are responding to the push for leniency in the U.S., including the 2013 Senate bill that would have legalized most illegal immigrants, Mr. Obamas executive actions halting most deportations and the increasing use of catch-and-release policies for illegal immigrant women and children.

These are immense pull factors, Mr. Miller said. This surge occurs at a time when the federal government continues to admit on visas more than 1 million permanent migrants and 700,000 temporary migrant workers each and every year ” holding down pay for a financially drained workforce.

And the dildos in Washington think global warming is the number one threat to national security.

But, glowBull warming causes the war in Syria, surely it would be peanuts for glowBull warming to cause non-Mexican illegal immigrant children border crossings.

All we have to do is completely stop glowBull warming, and... then... POOF! No more chillen border crossings, and no more Syrian war. It's a two-fer (actually, a million-fer, if you look at the "what is caused by glowbull warming" web site).

How are El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala children (?) getting to our southern border to cross over?

Mexico is not a small country, looking at a map, it is approximately the length north to south of the US, north to south. Not a short distance.

Someone is facilitating their travel from their countries to our southern border, they sure as heck aren’t walking. Buses, planes, trains? Safe passage through Mexico? The Mexican government and the drug cartels just ignore thousands of children (?) moving through?

But how many will it take to swing the next election...? (Assuming there is one, of course.)

If we are optimistically catching 10%, then at least 300 Pakistanis made it across the border illegally.

“How are El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala children (?) getting to our southern border to cross over?”

Do a search using some variation of the words “beast, train, illegals” and you’ll find plenty on the train dubbed the “beast”, on which all these children are allowed to ride THROUGH Mexico to get to our border. I fully believe that there are operatives in Central American countries, instructed and hired by the Obama regime, to give directions and hand out traveling cash to facilitate the invasion.

Thanks again. There is no way these people are making a 1450 mile journey through Mexico in full view without major assistance from governments, Mexico and others.

I had previously seen pictures of these trains and stupidly assumed it was a short term, unobserved mode of transportation.

How is this not an act of war on the part of Mexico?

Under the Obama regime, I suppose the only thing that would be considered an act of war would be an attack on domestic mosques or something of that nature. Yes, this invasion IS long term and will continue until the mission is completed, which is prolly the removal of the border and dissolution of the United States into some sort of regional authorities ruled over by a global forces. To keep the invasion rolling, deals have been reached between the so called Mexican Government, the cartels (the real power), and The O regime.

I can see a point in time where American citizens will take this into their hands if the politicians will not.
