Well, that works if all of Carson’s votes go to Cruz and none to Trump, but I don’t think that is the most likely scenario.
Of course. But Cruz is not dumb enough to attack Trump, at least at this point, when there are so many others yet to fall.
Cruz’s style is more one of pointing out what he will do differently (using opponent’s own words against them in the process), as opposed to throwing rhetorical bombs.
That’s one of the things I like about him.

One of the commenters calls Trump a fascist. That’s that latest meme from the left. However, the rabid lefties need to take a dip into William Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and do some honest self evaluation and soul searching (if they even have souls). It’s the national socialist lefties who want to control the means and production, to stamp out small businesses, to shut down free speech, to control the people’s “health,” to control banks and insurance companies and car manufacturers, to divide people into groups and scapegoat them, to use “Leni” Riefenstahl artists and comedians to ridicule and pigeonhole and isolate the opposition.

The talking heads on my preferred Christian talk radio station [ever quick to condemn Donald] are suddenly pondering/puzzling over his “appeal” to voters...and not necessarily reflexively slamming him.
Just a couple weeks ago, it was All Ben, All The Time.

Well, they once did, I don’t know now. According to Real Politics Poll Summary on Iowa, the last CBS You Gov Poll for Iowa (Sept) had Trump 29, Carson 25, Cruz 10. Yesterday’s CBS UGov Poll had Trump 30, Carson 19, Cruz 21. Carson lost 6%, looks like they went to Cruz, to me.
Donald shouldn’t have attacked Carson personally. Just as many don’t like a candidate who bashes Trump, many of Carson’s former supporter are not going to feel kindly to Donald.
That’s my opinion, any way.
Well Iowa is a unique state. It is not outside the realm of possibility that Cruz could win Iowa. But I look for Trump to run the rest of the table. Cruz is only polling about 7%-8.5% in most states. He is not going to surge to pass Trump in the high twenties and low thirties. Plus as the others drop out Trump will pick up his share of those supporters. He’s too far in the lead to catch at this point IMO.
Agreed...Cruz has a Rubio & Carson problem too. The longer all the candidates stay in the race the more it favors
Trump. As of the moment, Cruz is 21% to Trumps 30% in Iowa...but because of Paris & the Radical Islamic threat to our nation, Trump support may grow & he may prevail there because of his perceived strength on the issue, not to mention the pie being split between Carson, Cruz & Rubio.

That’s as far as I got. Ridiculous escalator? Oh brother. Why not just criticize Trump for the ridiculous shoelaces he wears, or for the ridiculous air he breaths. Escalators are ridiculous? Are all escalators ridiculous or is there just something ridiculous about that particular escalator? Does the writer prefer elevators?
