She is an assistant professor. This is her ticket out of her $10/hr salary as an assistant professor and onto tenure track, and eventually lilly white nirvana, a lifetime gig sucking on the teat of Colorado taxpayers in beautiful Boulder, Co.
This is why every gender/ethnic studies course and department needs to be closed. All they do is promote race hatred and grievance.
They are like the dhimmi, second class / third class Christians and Jews in Muslim majority systems who trumpet how great Islam is - Stockholm syndrome by some, a survival mechanism by others to gain status or decrease the odds that their families get killed in the next pogrom.
They have to publicly grovel as to how low they are, to appease the masters and preserve their lives.
Whites are being pushed to the bottom of a new caste system, becoming “untouchables”, to be banished from the public square and relegated to the jobs no one wants.
Imagine a professor of physics preaching flat earth, or a chemist preaching alchemy.
The STEM departments, to defend their reputation, would kick these kooks out on their Obamaholes.
However since the lib”arts” departments no longer have standards and very little reputation, they bend to the low-T idiocy of their low IQ “professors”.
We laugh about these kind of things but doesn’t it scare all of you? These professors are nuttier than squirrel sh*t and they are teaching our kids!

This movement seems to have also been ratcheted up considerably on a national level over the past few years in such places as Missouri. Most of us over 55 remember the campus riots of the late 1960's early 70's but this movement is a lot more organized with communications coordinated with between many universities. These groups are getting feral in what they feel they are "owed" due to their designated privileged victim group designation.
Wouldn't be surprised if that were transgender.

PC was institutionalized in America decades ago. These fringe studies/professors have become mainstream as the bureaucracy of PC has grown in its malignancy.
