The battle between Ohio Gov. John Kasich and GOP front-runner Donald Trump is heating up.
A video released online Tuesday by the Kasich campaign attacks Trump for his rhetoric against various minority groups, invoking the theme of needing to stand up for people before it's too late. The video features retired Col. Tom Moe, a U.S. Air Force veteran and Vietnam POW, paraphrasing the famous words of late German pastor and concentration camp survivor Martin Niemoller:
"You might not care if Donald Trump says Muslims must register with their government because you're not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump says he's going to round up all the Hispanic immigrants, because you're not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump says it's OK to rough up black protesters, because you're not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump wants to suppress journalists, because you're not one."

Lass, I am not certain what you are irritated about. This is what the left establishment has always been. They just generally get away with hiding it. You now see them for what they truly are, what they have always been. As another FReeper has stated, this attack is not only directed at Trump but at his supporters also. I am a Cruz man but if Trump is nominated I will be happy to vote for him. I don’t give a damn what the propaganda media and DC politicians think. Nor does the majority of us. And we are coming.
I assume that after the next debate, Kaisch will have to install a larger commode in his bathroom.
But the thing is, I **don't** trust him to think, talk, act, or govern as a social and constitutional conservative.
Good point. I’ll also say that years ago I thought Kasich was a pretty stand up guy. It was during the Clinton years, and perhaps I thought he was good, because he saw the danger in Clinton.
Now he’s a complete idiot.
You know, when I go out, I don’t want 90% of the nation to think I’m a jerk. Evidently that’s one more thing he and I don’t have in common.
He doesn’t care if all the Left and most of the right see him as an imbecile.
And to think a candidate would lower the values of the election for POTUS, especially after what we have had to put with for 7 years, would be a little more respectful of those candidates he's running against...
To think, that the GOP and super pacs and lobbyists and handlers are in the ‘gutter’ with this type of garbage is a stain on the American People's Values...
And when I said ‘have they no shame’ is what I meant, to lower our Great Nation, lower than She has already been lowered, is quite a disgusting, unmoral, way of life...
We are showing people across the World, who knows more about our elections, than we do..that we are ‘common gutter trash’ with this type of garbage being thrown around because some group or some person thinks he's so important when he needs to be down in the ‘gutter’ with the garbage!!!

How can a retired Colonel in our army lie like that. Makes we wonder who he led in battle. His bio says he was a vietnam POW. did they mess up his mind. Maybe we should rescind his pension.

When I learned that Kasich worked for Lehman Brothers after he left congress I knew it had to be either a payoff of some kind or influence buying.
It makes me doubt his conservative “values” for his entire time in DC.
this guy is a retired colonel in our army. did he learn how to lie like that as a POW.
Kasich is nothing but a money laundering operation for the establishment at this point.
