Dick’s has a Savage ( Stevens) 12 ga. home security pump shotgun for $199.00 and free 50 00 buckshot Remington along with the weapon.
Thanks for the tip, will do, that’s where I’ll go next.
I was using Hornady Critical Defense to make sure they cycled OK and surprised I didn’t get hammered.
I’m about 50/50 hammer/striker in semi-auto pistols now.
If you like Remington, I saw Natchez latest catalog had 1,000 Rem. FMJ for about $200.
Is is the same as the Golden Saber? I may have some of that left somewhere.
Does the bullet open up as when shot through a full size pistol?

The nice thing about the Hornady is it is supposed to defeat fabric, denim, etc.
It wouldn’t surprise me if its the same projectile. But Remington claims they’ve optimized the cartridge for short barrels. I can tell you that it feeds flawless in my XDS. For me the recoil is very manageable. It’s also very accurate out to 7 yards or so.

I would like an older benelli super 90....
Me too. If it’s good enough for the USMC it’s good enough for me..

That is an awesome show they do. I’m not counting on big deals this year though, too much of the sounds of threats from DC. They are moving inventory fast and have no reason to drop prices.
Excellent advice. I would also add in a spare lower. Never can have enough.
Read a review on it. Sounds like a nic gun, esp if you get a misfire youb get a second chance. Does it fire without the magazine? My LC9sPro does, and the only control is the slide stop; and every trigger pull the same. Good luck!
My 38SPL competition load used West Coast Bullet 138 gr DEWC over 3.8 gr Win 231 powder. I'm having trouble finding components for that at the current time. The Win296/H110 that I favor for 300 BLK, 357mag, 44mag and 454 Casull is never in stock anymore.
I researched them quite a bit. Probably went through 20-30 reviews.
No, it does not have a mag disconnect. You can fire without a mag in it.
I don’t like to have to mess with a safety for my carry guns. (My KelTec P11 doesn’t even have a safety. I carry my CZ-82 with the hammer down. It’s safe to do so with the CZ-82. I shoot the first shot DA and rest are SA.)
The PT111 has a trigger safety and a long trigger pull. Therefore, I think the manual safety is unnecessary. Like many people, I just won’t use it. I’ll carry and shoot it like a Glock.
I have carried my Mitchell .45 bull barrel/full throat support for 20 years. The takedown needs a bent paper-clip into a hole in the spring guide; but then breaks down into the barrel assembly, slide, and receiver for simple cleaning. This was made only briefly back when Mitchell tried to buy a niche in the Gov't market. Has other race gun features. Extremely accurate.
The LC9s fits exactly in the Don Hume H715 M NO. 40FS-1 IWB open top molded leather holster meant for the S&W Signa 9, easy re-holstering. However, the retention is friction, not positive; and the clip, though pretty secure, does not have a positive U-bend.
I carry the Springfield Armory XDS in .45 ACP in an Alien Gear IWB Cloak Tuck holster.
Love that combo.
I did the same for the barrel bushing on a standard-frame 1911 I just built earlier this year. But I used 200, then 300 grit wet-or-dry carbide paper. Using it wet removes particulates as they form, so the paper doesn't gum up. Just smoothed the barrel in the contact area, then fit the bushing I. D. to it using the paper on a hardwood dowel. Same with bushing to slide, smoothed the bushing O. D., then fit the slide muzzle I. D. to the bushing.
I got the Para Ordnance slide very cheaply from Sarco, when they got a lot of Para Ordnance surplus when it was sold to Remington, new guns rebadged, and the old parts bins cleared out.
So now my Colt beaver-tailed frame, Springfield-barrelled, match-triggered, fitted-bushing gun (with spring guide) calls itself "Para 1911 Wild Bunch" on the slide.
I could have fitted the slide to the frame, but had a real fine gunsmith do it, so when handed down to a grandchild, he will know that he has a very special gun, put together by his grandpa, and finally checked out by the best gunsmith (who really liked my trigger job).
I haven't had a chance to shoot it, but I think I'm going to be really pleased with its tight groups. I hope.
But if you don't like it, you can just send it on to me, eh? /smile
(You supply lower receiver) abt. $400
Halfway down the page. I wonder. Sarco, Inc.< Easton, PA
