MOUNT HOREB, Wis. - A southern Wisconsin elementary school cancelled a planned reading of a children's book about a transgender girl after a group threatened to sue.
The Mount Horeb Area School District released a statement Wednesday saying it will not proceed with its planned reading of the book "I am Jazz," the Capital Times reported. The district said it would give the Board of Education the opportunity to address a situation, for which the district has no current policy.

I'd like burn some of the people who put this trash in the school system. Or at the least give them a real electric jolt.
Garbage. Pure garbage.
The best way to show that girl "respect and support" would be to send her to a psychiatrist.

For those that don’t know, this book isn’t a fictional story. There’s a real-life Jazz Jennings. He’s a 15-year old boy who has been doing the media circuit since he was six-years old. He currently has his own reality show on TLC.
It’s a very sad case, really. The list of activist stuff credited to him suggests that he didn’t come up with any of it himself. For example, just how many (then) 10-year old boys come up with the idea of suing the US Soccer Federation to allow him to play on girls’ soccer teams?
The kid’s being used as a pawn. Whether he suffers from actual biological gender dysphoria (which is far rarer than activists who have you believe) or not, he’s been used by advocacy groups since he was a little kid.
Time our side started lawsuits...

Together with the school board, the school admin and the teacher.
An elementary school-aged boy? Sorry, I don't buy this. The parents are pushing this.

Sounds like the author ‘graduated’ from this school.
Here is how the book needs to be written.
Bobby doesn’t like himself very much. He feels sad sometimes, just like all normal children. Bobby likes to cut himself with a razor. One day Bobby decides to cut off parts of his body and wear funny clothes. Bobby’s two mommies think this is perfectly normal and encourage bobby to continue self mutilation. Poor Bobby has no one that loves him enough to get help and Bobby aims restlessly through life. Bobby eventually is so sad that he jumps in front of a dump truck to kill himself.
If I am correct, the parents chose a gender neutral name from the beginning. Poor kid was kinda pushed in this direction. The most evil form of child abuse.
The fish change their sex, not their gender.
That makes HIM a male. Now get out of my courtroom.
I think this kind of “currriculum” is designed to give middle-aged liberal “educators”and school board members their sexual jollies. If parents strongly made that point in public meetings, this sort of thing might stop.
