Yeah, Aggie jokes would have been good here.
The potential workplace violence angle was debunked once it was disclosed the attackers used pipe bombs. Regardless of the motivation of the attackers, those clearly indicate planning. This professor was clinging to straws in an effort to keep her agenda afloat. The fact that these attackers are Islamic, just shows they are the flavor of the month.
Workplace violence are more likely crimes of passion. Going into your current or previous place of employment and wreaking vengeance on those who you perceive as doing you wrong. There may be some planning, but IIRC generally not much.
A terrorist attack, even a small one, requires extensive planning to be effective. The attackers had to procure equipment, vehicles, estimate police response, etc... The fact that it was also a workplace is either a coincidence, or more likely, a bonus. This strike, as well as those in Paris were calculated to cause fear and inspire other DAESH/ISIL supports (hence the go-pro cameras)
Even Columbine, which is generally viewed as a mass shooting akin to workplace violence, had, in a sense, some of the the characteristics of a terror attack. If you view the two students as a very small, independent, anarchist cell.
In other words: “my parents dragged me to this wretched place, so I am going to do my level best to f-— it up, and get paid to do it.”
Hope Newsbuster is paying for your BP meds and antacids. Sure you need them after watching this nonsense.
