(From 11/24) The common refrain from gun loving people here in the United States following the terrorist attacks in Paris is that more good guys with guns on the scene would have saved lives. After all, if we can save just one life with concealed carry it will be worth it, right? There are some news reports circulating from foreign media sites which indicate that a couple people in that Paris restaurant were indeed armed and did in fact return fire, killing the terrorists and saving lives. There’s just one problem: they were reportedly drug traffickers.

It's been reported in Russian media as well. We have Russian TV in our house and while I can't understand it, my wife was telling me about this story shortly after the Paris massacre occurred. I couldn't find any corroboration in English media.

This fits in with my observation that in many ways, gangs are today’s militias. Unfortunately, they don’t play nicely with the rest of society.
They were relying on the police who were of course minutes away.
Sounds like a newly born urban myth to me.

Stands to reason they would not want their customer base killed off, they may have thought they were a rival group of drug dealers, whatever the case (if true) they killed islamists and ultimately that’s a good thing.

many are actually- there was a story of police in NY beign harassed by protestors, and some gang members went over and beat the ever lovin crap out of the protestors- (and I’ll be the protestors demanded that the police protect them- and I’m also betting the police were ‘distracted’ while it was happening lol)

lol- I’m betting many of the police were laughing their butts off over the incident (quietly behind the scenes)- it was a perfect case of irony- a protest group screaming about the police, then getting beat up and screaming for police protection

obama..... if no one needs guns.....why do you travel around with a heavily armed mini army and ride in a bullet/bomb proof limo... you and your family should give up your SS guard... lead the folks .... do it
