How, exactly, would you do that? No non-citizen can bring a citizenship “claim.” And the immigration law/asylum law says that religions tests MUST be applied. They’ve always been applied to let people in, but the reverse obviously has to be true.

You don’t ban as a religion. You ban based on the home where the person is coming from, i.e., Syria, Iraq, Jordan, etc. Just as in WW II, we did not accept any Japanese immigrants. Except for a few scientists whom we captured in 1945, I don’t think we accepted any German or Italian immigrants after 1941.

there are muslim countries which ban Jews. We do business with those countries. Those countries are ironically involved in the boycott divestment sanction Israel movement.

Oh, sorry. The poster had said something about Trump having trouble with the courts. I don’t think so.
Wait till the Bad guys attack a mall and kill a bunch of American shoppers and kids. or a Childrens Hospital, or a movie house showing Star Wars, or a broadway play. Or even another Christmas Party someplace. Lots of opportunities with Christmas or New Years. If they do—Trumps Ideas may not seem so silly after all.
This is the one I support. Shut it down for 5 years until we get our house in order. Then we can reopen

He has this right. The American civilian didn’t sign up to fight a ground war on the streets of America with imported enemies. Its time to stop dead the transformation of America. We don’t want to import the dregs from the third world and the murderous backward Islamists from the Middle East. Hell we’ve imported far too many socialist minded leaches already. There should be a limit. If you aren’t a citizen and apply for social services you and your dependents should go immediately on a list to be deported. If you end up on a no fly list or a terrorist watch list and your not a citizen then you are your dependents should be deported. This isn’t complicated and we need to streamline the process so that deportation can be done quickly and efficiently.
I’m 100% in favor of a complete shutdown. But I’d shut it down for the duration. And that could be a long, long time.
Internment camps until this is resolved. Like we did with the Japanese living here during WWII.
