I’ll let the rest of the forum piss and moan about their candidate being better than the other. Having Trump and Cruz #1 and #2 (in any order) makes me smile. The GOPe can just shrivel up and disappear.

[Billionaire businessman]

As usual, feeding into that envy and mistrust of greedy and evil achievers.

Trump may get another bump now that news is coming out implicating the jihadist mother. He said in the beginning she was a liar and culpable and took flak for it. Now they are finding cars and money and weapon stashes in her name.

“Seems Ted is losing a lot of support on FR today— not mine.”

I don’t think so plus he is moving up nationally. I think he will move up more nationally now that Trump has had another outburst without thinking it out.

The more Trump talks the more solid my support for Cruz becomes!

I can’t believe fellow freepers are so gung ho about a liberal democrat...errr RINO named Trump. He talk good on some issues but he is skin deep. The only thing he has going for him in my book is he LOVES america unlike some RINOS and democrats.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was at 4 percent

Why hasn't Jeb run out of other people's money yet?

The 10% point gap is the closest Ted has been to Trump in a national poll, AFAIK.

Rubio at #3 is an ominous sign.

Assuming that it is actually reported on by the lame stream media.

The problem is, while it might be Trump #1 and Cruz as veep, it will never, ever be the reverse. And I don’t think Ted can accomplish much, whereas I think Trump will do everything he says.

Bingo! That’s why I think 8 years as VP will serve Cruz well and position him for 8 years of his own at the helm. Just imagine - 16 years non interrupted without a D near the WH. Please God - let it be so!

If that came true, then a Cruz administration, even after four years of Trump, would be so empowered that we could indeed have a constitutional revolution that would astound us all. Right now we have a Patton out there, crushing the enemy and at times slapping some soldiers. It’s an absolute emergency. With a calmer situation an Eisenhower will do fine.

The more you clowns repeat this in light of reality, the less most of us think of Cruz if he is as obnoxious as some of his blowhard supporters.
