SAN BERNARDINO -- There was a custody hearing on Tuesday for the 6-month-old daughter of Tashfeen Malik -- a Pakistani in the U.S. on a Visa -- and her American husband, Syed Farook, who murdered 14 people at a holiday party in California.
Farook's sister wants to adopt the baby from state custody. CBS News learned on Tuesday that Farook took out a $28,000 loan before the massacre.
CBS News has found that the shooting last Wednesday is sending many in San Bernardino to the gun store.
At a gun shop less than two miles from the scene of the massacre, more than two dozen people were lined up outside when it opened on Tuesday morning.

It must be hell for the people of San Bernardino. Besides the devastated families of the murdered, you must all be feeling vulnerable and angry.
Then on top of that you have to endure our government telling us that more jihadists are on their way.

There's an entirely new element to all this that wasn't there before. This is open defiance not of terrorists, but of the government, and it's not only infuriating to the gun control activists who flatter themselves that they have the state neatly captured, it's scaring the hell out of them. I was in a small gun sthop in south Orange County today starting the process to buy a gun. There was not a line out the door, but business was brisk. The clerk said they are selling 50-60 guns a day. The Glock I want is back ordered past my 10 day waiting period.
The Grant Boys Gun Store, an Orange County Legend for years in Costa Mesa closed up a little while ago.
Not sure why, but I’m sure the Anti Gun Climate here didn’t help.
And, like us, they have had to endure their supposed Commander in Chief lecture them about being nice to the noble Muslims. I'm sure that went over great in San Bernardino.
