DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT ON BUDGET DEAL

(New York, NY) December 17, 2015

If anyone needed more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent President, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.

The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests. How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?

The only special interest not being served by our government is the American people. It is time we imposed budget discipline by holding the line on spending, getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse, and by taking on our debt. To do these things, we need a President who can lead the fight to hold Congress and the rest of government accountable. Together, we can Make America Great Again." atDonald J. Trump

Amen to that. Remembering when in Hawaii a few years ago (happened to be there at the same time the magic muslim bow-boy was there). Rush had to be rushed to the hospital from the hotel. That had us in tears for fear there was something really bad - heart attack, something else really serious. Fortunately after a number of tests, a few weeks later he was released. Praise the Lord! WHAT would we do without Rush!!!? I believe this was after he met Catherine but before their marriage.

RUMP + CRUZ = JUSTICE FOR AMERICANS

Exactly. Should have been selling when it was $100 a barrel.

Yeah and then now we would be screwed. Look at the disaster in Texas because their economy is mostly oil and Alaska where they are going to implement a state income tax because the low fuel costs. I’d rather start exporting oil at a lower amount and then gain so that we don’t have this influx of money and then it disappears.

Trump is crafty. Where he is serious, he is deadly. Where he is frivolous and calls names and carries on is when he is on the porch with the people, at his stump speeches, talking turkey. People get him. He is them.

There truly is a place for both and he does know how to thread the needle.

Like you, I happen to like his fireside chat side when he reveals his razor sharp intelligence and I think, phenominal basic instinct. It’s a trip through gifted thinking. But, I’m biased and really love his serious side.

He is a force of nature.

I guess you could call DT the chaos candidate, why not.

He’s left the competition’s campaigns in shambles!

He’s created a tsunami that’s washed aside the media!

He’s got the left so scared they are quaking is their boots!

Yes, those who hate America, or just want to raid our Treasury are in a terrible chaotic state now.

It’s a beautiful thing to behold

I swear, the GOPE are going to try to ram Paul Ryan down our throat before this is over.

They’re all itching for a reason to re-register as Marxist-socialist, er.... I mean.... Democrat.

They can not stop this revolution.

We all knew that Paul Ryan was a squish if not a weasel

Recall....both Ryan and Carson sprang to fame and position after making a speech that did not amuse Obama in the audience.

My theory is it was all a set up...obama using some spare "stash" to get the two speeches made.....and his anger was faked.

seems to have worked...Ryan is speaker and Carson a presidential candidate.

I have to say those are some compelling points.

If any place on this earth needs a big, heaping bucket of chaos poured right down its throat, it’s Washington DC!

Jeb! might be on to something here.

Yeb (practicing in mirror before the debate)

Ok, “Jeb Can Fix It”, didn’t pan out too well. Time for Jeb is Serious...yeah if I just use the word serious enough the people will think I’m serious!

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to say Trump is not-serious, yeah me serious, Trump not-serious thats it.

Um, and don’t stand on my tippytoes, pick my nose, or...

The republican power brokers will only understand, if in the districts of the top 10 republican House “leaders,” their republican constituents pull the lever for the democrat opponent in the 2016 election. Republicans won’t lose the House, but America’s enemies in the GOPe leadership will be cast aside. In 2 years, they can return an actual representative to the House.

Agree. We need to dismantle the Uniparty and start over.

The GOPe has got to go. The U.S. is on the path the Soviet Union took. 20 trillion in debt and 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities. The U.S. is going to collapse without a shot being fired. As planned.

He never called Cruz a maniac for opposing McConnell. He called out the way in which Cruz started his senate career and questioned the effectiveness of such an approach. You can oppose someone without calling them a liar. Trump simply thinks his negotiating tactics would have worked better than Cruz’s attitude. That has nothing to do with issues or supporting/opposing specific people.

There is some hypocrisy there. He appears to cave on principle in order to win. I probably will vote for him and if he gets done 1% of what he says he will do, that will still be astronomically more than has done in the last 30+ years.
