After 1400 years there is still not reformation of Islam. Consider that Mohammed began his campaign of war around the year 600. Think what the world was like back then. Who were some other barbarians around at that time? The Vikings came along about 200 years latter around the year 800. Now look at the Scandinavian countries of today and compare them to the Moslem countries of today.
After about 200 years the Vikings began to settle down and become civilized but can we say that the Moslem world is civilized even today? If they have had 1400 years to become civilized why have they not?
If many parts of the Moslem world is still in the dark and barbaric practices of the 7th century when are they going to come into the modern age? And how many of them really want to come into the modern age? If we didn't have more money and consumer goods would they be interested in coming here at all?
If after 1400 they have not made progress what makes us think that bringing them into Western countries would change their barbaric attitudes? Are we supposed to nurse them until they become well mannered, peaceful and totally trustworthy? We are not a nursery school for the world's behavior problems.

Exactly. Look at pictures of Egypt in the 40s or Iran in the 70s and you rather modernised people.

Barbarians generally become civilized. Moslems come from the cradle of civilization and have turned into barbarians.
Take it easy. I was trying to convey the realization that Islam cannot be reformed or it would have been reformed in it’s 1400 year history.
Islam has been committing genetic suicide from its inception. Endogamy will eventually catch up with you.
You cannot reform Islam.
Every word of the Koran of was delivered from Allah to Mohammed by the ‘angel’ Gabriel. Changing even a single word would be blasphemy.
Furthermore, Mohammed, a bandit, rapist, murderer and pedophile, is established as the ‘Perfect Man’ and the example that all Moslems should follow.
Then there are the Hadiths, and other books like Reliance of the Traveler that date from early in the history of Islam and amplify the meanings of the Koran and the status of Mohammed.
Finally there is the language issue. The Koran is written in Arabic; and, according to Mohammed Allah speaks Arabic. Any ‘Koran’ not written in Arabic is NOT a Koran, but only a translation. So there cannot even be any debate about the translation or interpretation. The Koran can only be correctly understood in Arabic.
Islam is what it is. ‘Reform’ it and you have something other than Islam.

I read AN INFIDEL’S GUIDE TO ISLAM this week and was looking for another book on the subject.
The novel SUBMISSION was an interesting read as well.
Read the Guide you mention. This book is far scarier because it paints a picture of a culture which knowingly rejects rational thought. They don’t even accept such basic precepts of logic as cause and effect.
This is what I keep telling people. Why is there no Martin Luther in Islam??
That form of Islam did die, and it was a religious doctrine to combat the religious doctrine from the Byzantium era, which coincides with the rise of the Ottoman empire which lasted a good 400+ years.
Today’s Islam is a geopolitical movement in the guise of Islam. I call it Islamunism. A Plutocratic Patriarchal Oligarchical Theocracy that will stifle world development and reintroduce the dark ages for the 21th century.
The northern European people were called barbarians at one time but in time they eagerly accepted the knowledge of the classical civilizations. They gradually kept progressing until they became modern prosperous nations capable of producing their own civilization.
There is no reform because it can not be reformed.
Islam is not a religion . It is a political ideology with it’s own constitution parading itself as a religion.
The koran is a war plan and it can never be anything else.
Actually, seriously, Islam has undergone some reformation from the modernizing influences of Marx and National Socialism.

This comparison between the Moslems and Vikings has occurred to me from time to time. I wanted to share it with people so that they would pass it on to their friends. I think the stark difference between the way that the two cultures developed makes people wonder what it is that allowed the Scandinavian people to progress while the Moslem world stayed in a dark ages time warp. The answer of course, is Islam versus Christianity. Christianity benefitted the Scandinavians while Islam harmed all the nations that it conquered.
