Given that, wouldn’t it be prudent for Trump to ask the following to both Kasich and Bush:
You both have stated emphatically Donald Trump will not be the nominee.
Yet, polling is clear. A majority of Republicans have chosen Donald Trump as their candidate for the next President of the United States.
What information do you have confirming your declaration?

Her daughter gave him an essay she wrote called "Trump the Chump", and Jebbers read out loud to his staff amidst great merriment and asked if he could keep it.
She has the whole story, with pictures, up on her Facebook. She's proud. Jebbers looks like a goober in the pictures.
Jeb’s father George H.W. Bush, and his brother George W. Bush, both ran for President in their first campaigns as “conservatives”, something they were not. Jeb has made the mistake of running as the moderate compromiser he father and brother became once they assumed office. Unlike his father and brother Jeb decided to run as who is is, not as what the public wants. Given a choice between more moderation (i.e. capitulation to the global socialist agenda) and nationalistic positions on key issues (trade, immigration) the voters are choosing candidates who spout nationalistic themes.
From a marketing perspective it is simple to diagnose Bush’s problems: #1 is integrity. The voters were betrayed by his father and brother so the Bush brand has not equity. #2 Product. The positions he is supporting on the two major issues (trade, immigration) are not congruent with the desires of the voters. #3 Packaging. Bush is not performing well on the stump or in the debates. His advertising is weak. In a year when the public is looking for strong, aggressive and highly differentiated candidates he shows up as bland and generic. Any retail merchant can tell you if bright orange is the color of the season, and your product is beige, you will sell 1/20th or fewer of the number of orange sold no matter how you price or promote your product. Jeb is beige in an orange year. The only thing to admire about Jeb and his campaign is he is not running a campaign of deception like his father and brother.
From a business perspective Jeb should have already cut his losses (like Walker did) and gone home. Survivors in the business world at the first inkling a product will not sell, end production, take the markdowns to clear the shelf, and go back to the drawing board to try with a redesigned or new product. By staying in the race, and being humiliated by Trump daily, Jeb is ensuring he will be unable to pull a Nixon and run again in 2020 or even run for Senator in Florida when Nelson’s term is up.
GHWB undermined Reagan’s legacy and his candidacy back in 1980 too. Reagan wasn’t perfect, but it was downright offensive that Bush ran as a Reagan conservative in 1988 then reneged on everything. The new Meacham book even documents that Bush, right after the election, mentioned to Dukakis in a post-election phone call that he would raise taxes in his second year!
