“Bush blames Obama for Trump rise”
I call that one of Obama’s few positive accomplishment.
To: Zakeet
I blame W and the Congressional GOPee for poor performance. Paul Ryno and Ditch in the last week have certainly not shown any sign of improvement so Trump continues on. Yheb! is obviously not a part of any solution.

Re iraq, GWB’s father G.H.W.Bush knew when to hold them & when to fold them... something like that as the saying goes. GWB got carried away... should’ve seen aghanistan thru to fruition, first.
As far as I recall, at the time, even Putin said GWB had bad advisors re iraq. End of the day, advisor or not, president makes the decision. It’s a judgment call.
About Trump... Hmm, dunno..’the shows’ intel can be surprisingly illuminating!

The Bushes are SO DUMB. But there's a reason they have been so powerful...affirmative action..from the very beginning.
Prescott Bush was a lowly tire salesman when he married Dorothy Walker, his fortunes had quickly improved. His father-in-law George Herbert Walker elevated him to the vice-presidency of Brown Brothers Harriman, which financed exports of gold, steel, weapons and people to Nazi Germany.
Indeed, Bush was pro-Hitler, a disgraceful man. But dumb as rocks too, and unworthy of his wealth and power. Reagan could have let it all end in 1980, but was hoodwinked by the Rockefeller Republican wing into choosing H.W. Bush. And now we are saddled with his idiot offspring, of whom Jeb is so clearly the most dim-witted.
To: Zakeet
"He would not exist were it not for Barack Obama," Bush said of TrumpAnd "Barack Obama" would not exist except for your idiot brother and his idiot advisers, Jeb.

Wow, Jebbie figured it out all by himself.

Being unfettered by ideological limitations, such as âall men are created equalâ which prevents Republicans from such pandering as affirmative action, Trump can and will scoop up voting blocks in the same method as Democrats. Stop trying to fight Federal control of everyoneâs daily lives, and fight to be the one in charge of making the decisionsNice analysis.

You hit the nail on the head. Trump is very much at 21st century Teddy Roosevelt (who was also considered anathema to the political establishment of his day). The left has run roughshod over the Constitution for so long that it's going to take some "roughshodding" to put things back on track, and it's Trump, not Cruz or anyone else, who is the man of the hour for that task. When the train has derailed you don't fix things by focusing on how to operate the engine.
That's why Trump/Cruz makes sense--a promise to both do what is necessary to right the ship of state and to restore Constitutional governance. Each of these men brings unique qualifications to their part of the work. Working together we may see a true rebirth of American greatness, not in the arrogant imperial sense but as a model and beacon of hope to the world.

Civil war is the historically more likely outcome.
But that didn’t start with Trump.

Barack was part of it but the GOP establishment could have set itself up as the alternative to Barack Obama and instead it joined with him on a number of issues.

Memo to Donald Trump ...
Executive Summary:
By helping to DESTROY Hillary in the first three (3) Democratic Presidential Primaries, Donald Trump can "accurately claim" that he KEPT HIS PROMISE to the GOP that he CAN and DID DEFEAT Hillary ...
1) set-up a Hillary Lies website (www.HillaryLies.com)
2) Purchase a $ 100 million national TV ad buy to air a "Hillary Liar" video featuring Bill Clinton on the ISIS Recruitment Video ... featuring the www.HillaryLies.com website link ...
3) Massively Broadcast national TV ad (everywhere) until everyone in America has seen the video at least three times ... including in movie theater ads, Liberal newspapers and Women's magazines ... EVERYWHERE ...
4-A) FOCUS "Hillary Lies" TV ads in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina so that Bernie Sanders can DEFEAT Hillary in the first three (3) Democrat 2016 Presidential Primary States ...
4-B) FOCUS "Hillary Lies" with a massive Outdoor Billboard campaign in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina so that Bernie Sanders can DEFEAT Hillary in the first three (3) Democrat 2016 Presidential Primary States ...
Again ... By helping to DESTROY Hillary in the first three (3) Democratic Presidential Primaries, Donald Trump can "accurately claim" that he KEPT HIS PROMISE to the GOP that he CAN and DID DEFEAT Hillary ...

Or massive increases in socialized medicine. Or make a new big government program like Homeland Security so that no politician can be liable for the decisions made by them.
How about Thousands Standing Around (TSA) that lets 95% of bad thingies past them while they are groping Grandma?
The list is almost never ending.
NO RINOS....NO HOW...NO WAY...PRIMARY THEM ALL...REMOVE THEM FROM ALL POWER.
This vent was brought to by the hit play HOLLY JOLLY JIHAD...coming to Broadway soon. (Well I really hope not but,).
Freegards. :-)

True, but a Trump/Cruz win is probably our best hope for avoiding CW II. Nothing diffuses ideological tensions quite like unbridled prosperity.

Nothing diffuses ideological tensions quite like unbridled prosperity. We can't have that. Socialism is planned poverty. Stoking ideological tensions is the dialectical means by which the march of socialism is to triumph.
Cordially,

Bush is at least half-right. He can also thank his brother that who really started the OPEN BORDERS policies that exist today.
But no, Trump would be the laughing stock side-show that all of the ‘experts’ predicted had we shown SERIOUS BORDER CONTROL over the past 16 years. Beyond that, he’s really nothing special.
But...border control is the CLEARLY the most important issue today, and to the point that all other issues combined cannot hold a candle to it, which is why all of the attempts to link Trump to Hillary and point out his sometimes-liberal positions (Kelo, comments about Single Payer, among other things) simply HAVE NO EFFECT on his supporters, because we automatically lose Kelo, guns, and everything else, if we lose the border fight.
It’s that simple.

Well in that sense he is right. But if that is the case, then why does Jeb still not get it?
