“The left has run roughshod over the Constitution for so long that it’s going to take some “roughshodding” to put things back on track,”
The other option is to rely on conservatives winning the presidency for the next 20 years or so, so that we can replace these left-wing judges with conservative constitutional judges.
Besides taking 20 years, that we NO LONGER HAVE, there’s no assurance that our party can hold the top job that long (we never have), or that the people we put there will even govern as anything close to conservative.
Given all of that, I agree, Trump will have to do a few ‘ugly’ things that most of us would have preferred not be necessary, and likely beyond what Cruz would attempt. But we’re really LEFT WITH NO CHOICE, now.
IMO in the same way that the MSM is responsible for the
unintentional rise of Limbaugh and conservative talk radio
Jeb may have a point. HOWEVER, the failure of GW
and the GOP in general to defend themselves against the
Democrat politicians/libtard media onslaught also caused
the atmosphere that Trump thrives in.
Poor Jeb, he’s such a dumbass! If he and his GOPe cronies had even tiny, little, Jelly Belly-sized gonads, Obama would have been politically castrated long ago. But no, thanks to Karl “Kingmaker” Rove, John “America has nothing to fear from Barack Obama” McCain, Mitt “Take a dive in the last debate” Romney and many others, there is NO loyal opposition to Imam Obama (Piss be Unto Him).
You, Jeb, and your fellow lardass eunuchs are why Donald Trump is so popular today!
I would blame 90% of the Republicans who have held office since January 20, 1989.
Cruz as VP will help keep things as Constitutional as possible and as a result of going through the coming crucible as Trump's apprentice will gain a level of experience that will make him an able successor after 8 years.
I would say you are correct about Clinton. Reagonomics was working good by then and he did nothing to hinder it, and as a result there were very prosperous times.
I would say Bush II did more to harm the country than Nixon.
